I'm watching LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT on TCM right now, and young Dean Stockwell is such a cutie. Any stories? I never knew the weirdo from BLUE VELVET was quite the looker.
Though married 3 times he always pings to me.

I just saw him in a Night Gallery episode where DL fave Sally Field played his possessed wife, like a dry run for Sybil. He flounced in for his first scene with her and I squealed.

Is Dean $cieno?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 22, 2016 5:42 AM |
I don't know if he's a $cieno, but I do know he is a Frakkin' Toaster!

He always seem to be blinking fast and twitching. Does he have Tourette's?

Dean Stockwell is one of the few male actors I would have categorized as beautiful.

I would love to have a few drinks with Mr. Stockwell and just listen to his stories....they must be IN-credible.....

He was a good looking kid and one of the few child actors who managed a successful transition to adult roles. I first saw him in The Boy with Green Hair.

Great in Compulsion, the fictionalization of Leopold-Loeb.

Knew him as a somewhat eccentric character actor (always confused him with Dan Hedaya), but shocked to see how gorgeous he used to be. Just saw him in an old Twilight Zone episode. Any film recommendations of him when he was a young man?

Song of the Thin Man (1947) was on TCM yesterday, and I was surprised to see him as the little son of William Powell and Myrna Loy. He was a cute kid.

There was a handsome porn actor in the late 80s who looked like he could have been his much taller and more built son--so of course he went by the name of "Ray Stockwell."

Friends of mine were close to his stepmother Nina Olivette, who they affectionately referred to as Lady O. They said she had a great relationship with both Guy and Dean.

He played one of the thrill killers in a Leopold and Loeb movie, though the gay relationship aspect was pretty much ignored. Brad Dillman was his lover.

Dean's older brother was Guy Stockwell, perhaps most famous for his lead role in "Beau Geste" (1966).
