The answer to Drake's film career downturn is more dark comedy. He does well in non-heroic roles. Alternatively, he could try other avenues for his records. People aren't buying much Rockabilly Revival right now, although his adherence to what he knows and loves musically is endearing.

In early years of his teenage guitar-God stage he had promo shots taken looking just like Joan Jett, and even though his run on his Nick each saw him kissing beautiful girls every episode....he would always be readily lip-glossed and attired in women's fit flares or skinnies. He has a soft high-pitched speaking voice and feminine mannerisms too, so watching old episodes of his show it's not hard to squint and imagine he's a pretty auburn-haired Rock-dyke (now not so much).

I always loved Gregory Smith's sickly facial features on Everwood. He feel off the map in the US after the show ended. I just checked up on him and found out that he's directing and working pretty consistently in Canada. Congrats to him. Has he been linked to anyone? His IG seems asexually bro-y like Chace Crawford's.

There's no real comparison with Bell though. Smith seems introspective, mature, and soft spoken, great husband material...while Bell is riding his teen heartthrob fame into a music career, seem very kid-like.

R59 Gregory Smith was on the ABC television show Rookie Blue from 2010-2015 as a police officer Dov Epstein. It was okay but had too large of cast for my taste and I found it hard to follow.

The Christmas Drake & Josh TV movie special makes them seem like boyfriends before Bros. They spend all their spare time together (or running after each other), hug and look into each other's eyes constantly, and the final scene they have is essentially 'climactic kiss' dialogue (just without the kiss). There's also a lot of subtle but risqué references throughout, probably to amuse any parents suckered into watching with their kids over the Holidays. Drake is a minx and a kind of twinky-style cute, but Hell's Kitchen Angel Josh surpasses him in Deliciousness by this point in their careers (it's the biceps and green eyes).

He's charming and appealing, if not in the way he wants to be. His naked determination and ambition makes him more interesting than he'd other wise be...he's really not giving up on that Rock'n Roll vision. That's a good thing since he's written some decent songs, and can really play guitar well. Live music fans love him over the Border.
