He was superhot as a psychopathic CIA hitman in The Long Kiss Goodnight. It seems when he got older his jaws kept growing and he ended up looking Dick Van Dyke-ish. He's still hot but he was a perfection in Goodnight.

He seemed very straight in college, but gay-friendly. He also loved being the object of peoples' fantasies, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has swung both ways over the years. Very nice guy, but he did love being a BMOC.

r3, I remember when he was on SATC, a jealous Mr. Big had a line about Bierko's character's bad breath and Carrie quickly defended him. However, ever since that episode, I always think of halitosis whenever I see Bierko the actor. So I wonder about the validity of what people have posted about his bad breath in the past for that reason.

(I have the same reaction whenever I see the actor, Shawn Hatosy, simply because of his last name.)

Having said that, I hated his character on SATC and thought his storyline was a big yawn.

He was very handsome when he was younger, but he's only OK in his fifties. there are handsomer fiftysomethings.

R44 yes, in 2000, co-starring Rebecca Luker and directed by Susan Stroman. All three were nominated for a Tony, including the show for revial. Bierko lost to Brian Stokes Mitchell in KISS ME, KATE. Luker lost to Heather Headley in AIDA. Stroman lost to Michael Blakemore in KISS ME, KATE. The show lost to KISS ME, KATE. Bierko was replaced by Eric McCormack.

R39, I liked that show; the landlady was a wonderful character actress named Lilyan Chauvin.

I can't believe I remember this, but he played a bf of Kristy McNichol's character Barbara on an episode of Empty Nest. Barbara kept saying that he was the most handsome man she had ever seen. He WAS gorgeous when he was younger.

He's lost a lot of weight, but he's aged quite a bit. Very active on twitter, and now periscope.

I turn things off that he is in. He has a naturally irritating demeanor and is always hired to play characters with an irritating demeanor.

Time has caught up with this former hottie. Bierko is still handsome, but in the 90's he made me take notice. I thought he was at his MOST hot when he starred in the Sci-fi flick "The Thirteenth Floor" with an equally stunning Gretchen Mol.

Bierko's juicy lips were always so enticing...promising deep sensual kissing that'd have the recipient of those luscious lips in danger of overheating. Great to hear that he's a nice guy in person.
