I watched a few of the episodes of Scarecrow and Mrs.King a few years ago (as a kid Bruce in the role was an early fantasy of mine even if I might not of fully realized it at the time). In general, it suffered from bad writing, although the pilot was not bad and the leads did have good chemistry. Kate might not be the strongest actress, but she was good in that role for what it was. She could be likable on screen and had her own kind of charm.
