I recently saw him in About Alex. He played a het convincingly enough. I don't remember thinking even once he might be gay. I've known guys with higher than normal voices and it really doesn't mean that they are gay. The same goes with petite guys. It's somehow easier to think a man is gay when he's small and not as masculine as the bigger guys but it doesn't go like that. Comedy guys also can mess up your sensors since it's their job to differ from the norm.

That said there's more bisexuality among men than many want to believe. A recent study from the UK had over 50% of young adults saying they are not 100% straight. And it's very possible that actors are more often than not bi or gay. So yeah, Max might very well be bi or even gay. Hollywood is all smoke and mirrors so you never know.

I'm late to this thread but all of you are stereotyping a guy you don't even know. He's an actor, playing the role of an eccentric metrosexual guy. Even if he has similar characteristics to his character, that makes him gay? Every single one of you can be stereotyped in one way or another - weather you're white, black, asian, gay, straight, bi - are all of the stereotypes about how you look or identify true? I highly doubt it. It's so disappointing to see so many people hide behind a screen to either accuse a grown man that they've never met of lying to his WIFE and the public about his sexuality or to just straight up insult him or his wife. Grow up people..If you're going to talk about someone else atleast educate yourself first. A person's mannerisms or the way that they speak doesn't define their sexuality. Simple as that.
