I've checked major sci-fi blogs and anonmemes, Tumblr and Twitter, and seeing almost nothing. I'm not even seeing Gamergaters talk about this on Tumblr.

One of the things that shows the major disconnect between the MRAers and GGers and the fandom they're infiltrating is the fact that they don't know the history. This "class and economics are the real oppression" argument has gone on in sci-fi fandom for over a decade, and Wu isn't even close to the first person to bring it up. So you see a Twitter kerfuffle like this and you think Wu is going down, when in fact, it's just another brief 24-hour wankfest from the same people who wanked about this the last time it came around.

She's being attacked because of an illiterate defense of capitalism she made and a for singing a paean to Silicon Valley as the one power that might bring paradise on earth ('might', because, in Brianna's view, evil government has to stop regulating it before that happens). Many of the bloggers attacking her are Weird Twitter types (who dislike SJWs) and genuine lefties.
