I'm a SAG-AFTRA member so it's a union spot and I get residuals. It's different for cable channels though, you get a quarterly fee based on a number basically reflecting the penetration of the different cable networks taken as a whole. It's a calculation that results basically in a quarterly fee of about $3,000 added to residuals from each airing on the major networks. I'd say a popular add rings up $5-$6 grand per quarter, more or less. No two are alike.
