I started getting grays just above the ears in high school, but still haven't turned completely gray. She's too thin and looks dehydrated (maybe hungover). She appears to be wearing foundation and eyebrow pencil. My guess is the anorexia is affecting her face. Once you get past your twenties and lose the baby fat, your face naturally thins. Add starvation, and your skin may sag prematurely. It's also hard to drink a lot of fluids if you're not eating. Booze doesn't count.

Diana probably looked better at that age because she wasn't so underweight. You need some fat on your face to look good. Booze bloat doesn't count.

And it's "pockmarked." It refers to the old days when many people had smallpox, which left permanent scars on their faces. It was common for pretty young girls to have many scars disfiguring their faces, sadly. Are you sure Brits don't age less well, purely because all American celebrities start having plastic surgery, or at least injections, in their 20s, and thereafter don't look any age in particular? (Or like humans either?)

Celine Dion is really looking tired and haggard these days, if OP's photo is to be believed.

Based on my experience of Brits and Americans, the social expectations around aging are different so the appearance of aging is also different. Most white North Americans I have met who are in their 30s don't look as old to me as Kate does. North Americans are slathering on those creams at age 15 and some suburban moms are getting botox by the time they're 30. Mind you, they don't have to stand up to the HD photography that Kate faces. And neither did Diana.

What about French, Germans or Scandinavians? Do Brits look older than other Northern Europeans?
