With all these new bodybuilding threads... would you guys consider me someone who "overdoes it?"
I find the increase of weightlifting/bodybuilding threads on here to be quite cool. I think it is nice to have a place where people who are into the same thing can chat about their progress or ask questions. But I have seen one very consistent train of thought in many of these threads... folks on here seem to find bigger than average bodies a bit off putting. They even declare that bodybuilders themselves might be insecure or have image issues that result in them never being satisfied with how they look. So, as a test, I want to see what you guys think of me.
A little info before I post this link that has a couple of photos. I don't actually consider myself a bodybuilder, powerlifter, etc... I just think of myself as someone who likes to maintain a certain look because it makes me feel good. I don't use any products (not even protein powder or supplements) and have never touched anything illegal. I'm a simple high school senior who got into lifting weights in the last four years and don't really go overboard. At least, to me... working out 3-4x a week for an hour at our local gym isn't going overboard. But I do have a pretty strict diet I keep to.
So, would you consider my look off putting or say I am insecure and work out because of some neurotic need to improve myself or get bigger and bigger because I'm never satisfied? Just looking for opinions. Good and bad are welcome.

We do love our muscle queens. However there is something I need to know about your diet. Do you eat sausage with a bit of cream? That's all we care about honey.

You look great OP. If you aren't using taking anything you are never going to get to that roided out look that many find unnatural and gross (myself included).
But it is an addition, people will start taking things to increase their gains in the pursuit to keep getting bigger.

It really all depends on your legs. If you have well developed legs your top half would be great. If your legs are skinny, then your shoulders and arms are overdeveloped.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 1, 2015 2:35 PM

The arms are nice but I think you look kind of puny overall. Maybe you should work out more?

Possible, but unlikely. A reverse google search shows it is a unique image, so he didn't just steal it from some website. It would have to be someone else's private pics.

R5 and R7 - Fair enough. Granted, I hate doing legs and they are my weakest but IMO, they are no chicken legs. I think they are decent but definitely in need of more hard work.

How does a high school senior already have tattoos?
OP, if it really is you, you'll easily find guys that will want to sleep with/date you. Your body looks amazing and while you have the queens here that will recoil from this look on the internet, they'll drool over it in person, and you'll never leave a club/bar alone if you don't want to. You have an amazing body.

R8 Sorry dude but no. No time for that crap. I legit wanted to discuss weightlifting with cool people on here. No interest in "faking" who I am for the sake of conversation.

R11 I'm from NY. LOL. Tattoos for even guys younger than me aren't that uncommon. At all. My friend (who is a sophomore) has a full arm sleeve already. Not something I would do but it isn't weird to see.

Whoever it is in those pix, he's a gorgeous guy with a great body, but it's really too bad about the tattoos, and he should stop with them right now.

Top or bottom?

You look amazing to me. Perfect balance.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 1, 2015 3:05 PM

OP, I agree with R14. Your tattoos now look fine, but don't go overboard and do full chest ones etc. I hate when guys cover up their bodies like that.
Are you the person that was asking me about melanotan? If so you and I may be the only ones here interested in weight lifting lol.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 1, 2015 3:08 PM
|
Avoid melanotan. Use if you want black moles all over. Just tan regular.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 1, 2015 3:12 PM
|
R18 No lol. That wasn't me.
R16 Really? Eh, whatever. Vers.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 1, 2015 3:14 PM
|
R19, if I don't use melanotan, I get pretty severe burns even from minimal tanning (which is weird because I didn't as a kid). With melanotan I get no burns and an even tan.
OP, getting a lower back tattoo will brand you as a Muscle Mary bottom, so unless you want to be one, I'd avoid that. You don't want to go the Austin Wolf route.

Your hands look old, but that often happens with bodybuilders. Based on the hands I'd say mid 50s, based on the rest I'd say early 40s.

Go ahead, use at your own risk. Seems odd and quite vain to poke yourself with an unapproven peptide from some chemical "research" company to get a tan. By all means.

Tanning is terrible for you. It causes premature aging of the skin and skin cancer. It's such a silly practice that you will regret when you are older.

OP, Planet Fitness isn't bad at all especially for the price. I mean, you've gotten results so who cares? I use the gym in my apartment complex and the leg press is broken and the equipment is old but I really don't want to drive 45 minutes to the closest gym.
Too bad you can't send private messages on DL. I'd send you my email/the weightlifting board I post at.

What does this to do with buying peptides from questionable chemical companies? Are you that weird dishonest guy who uses an extreme amount of anabolics with no anti-aromatase (until I mentioned it) and then he used an excessive amount of that too?

OP:
1) You're hot.
2) Don't overdo it. Don't do steroids or go nuts with your diet/exercise.
3) Work on the rest of yourself. Read. Volunteer. Expand your knowledge and your experiences. Don't live in a gym or a mirror and don't make your exterior the entire sum of your self. Learn to talk about things that interest other people besides fitness, exercise, diet and nutrition. Work your head and heart out as much as your muscles.
4) Enjoy it all while it lasts.

R35, I'm on my first cycle on week 4. Sorry my only side effects so far have been the sleep loss from tren. And I knew asin was better than the blockers since if you go off of it it can't come back, but when you said rebound I responded that no, I hadn't had one yet because this is my first time taking it and who knows if everything I've read is legit. Calm the fuck down.
And I bought from this specific company because a friend that's been using it for years recommended it.
OP, I don't go to bb.com. Their message boards are filled with trolls and assholes. I post at the board that broke away from that.

I believe Cary Grant did limiting tanning his whole life with lamps and such.

R61 Fuck you. I don't take steroids asshole. I know I'm supposed to reply with "thanks" because if you think I do, I must be pretty decently sized in your eyes but the assumption that I do is really fucked up. I don't even use protein or supplements, let alone steroids.

Just keep working out and becoming a better person mentally as well. Don't do porn even if you become broke, your future prospects will be ruined forever. Same with escorting. The past always comes back to haunt. Hopefully you're going off to college in the fall?

He's 18. He can probably eat whatever the fuck he wants and get gains anyway. I did when I was that age.
For cutting to get like that I normally do 1800 cals a day (which is really hard, if you burn more calories you can cut by 300-400/day to still lose) and it looks something like this:
Breakfast: Greek yogurt (Chobani)- 100 cals Fruit of some kind (1 serving) Apple, pineapple, banana, grapes or whatnot Protein shake
Snack: Almonds
Lunch: 6 oz. chicken 1-2 cups steamed broccoli 2 oz. cheese
Snack: Wheat thins or some other carb of some sort (200 cals) Protein shake
Dinner: 6 oz. chicken Veggie of some sort
Before bed: Protein shake or some cottage cheese for slow-digesting protein overnight
I normally don't do protein shakes all that much but on calorie restriction and trying to eat clean I find it really hard to keep calories up there without them. Low carb diets make me lose bloat like crazy and after a few weeks the weight comes screaming off. If I plateau I do a refeed for a few days and consume lots of carbs, then resume the diet again.

No, I'm not. On another board I post at, I did mention the tren dosage and they said to cut it in half by only doing every other day so I may have been overdoing it with both the tren and asin (they said to do every 3 days with it, not every day or every other day). Thank you for cuing me about it though because otherwise I wouldn't have questioned it.
