Judith Miller probably did more than anyone outside the Bush Administration to create the situation that led to the rise of ISIS. The way she has responded to the world since her book came out last year reflects a far bigger whine on her part than anything the students have done, and I don't mean to imply that I support all of the student's arguments either. Judith Miller has the right to say what she wants, but she lacks any sense of self awareness about her own flaws and errors.

The reason we have to deal with ISIS is because we deposed Saddam and Rumsfeld disbanded the Iraqi army, leaving a trained-to-kill group of men suddenly incapable of earning a living. Of course they got upset, and without Saddam's iron fist to keep them in line, they radicalized and are forming a caliphate across the Middle East. And the reason we had to depose Saddam was due, in significant part, to Judy Miller's utterly false reporting, basically acting as a stenographer for the Bush Administration.
