quality of photography in TV shows
I was just rewatching episodes of Morse on Netflix. I was amazed at the quality of the visual production on this British TV show 25-30 years old. The shows in Oxford are a feast for the eyes, but the episodes in Italy are amazing.
Is this just British production or are there US shows this well photographed? Other than possibly PBS, are there other shows this well photographed or is it just the scenery that is perfection?

Logo has the WORST photography of any network. It's like a 20-year old VHS tape.

Is it possible for me to reserve the BBC2 channel for the duration of this televisual feast?

Did anyone notice the blue tint that's become so ubiquitous in the past 20 or so years? It's so overused IMO.

Yes. A lot of blue, green, or grey color schemes. I feel like it all started with Seven which looked like it was shot in a shitty truck stop restroom.
