Thanks, [R16]. Back then (the 80s-90s), I thought there was some sort of law that required a plot—even if it was a thin one—to justify the sex. Becuase it seemed like there was always a storyline.

I used to watch a lot of the old Latino Fan Cub porn, and a lot of it was interesting from the perspective of seeing what NYC was like back in the day. Eventually it seemed Brain Brennan just stopped trying; so many of his later movies were just two guys in the LFC edit bay or store room coming on to each other. The outdoor locations and goofy premises (Latin boys getting sexed up in outer space) were gone.

It's sexy. Gay sex back then involved seduction. However thin or bad the plot, it gave everyone a personality and you heard the voice before the action. Storytelling is a human need. Porn is better with a story.
