What's IQ of gay men who believe straight men perform in "gay for pay" porn?
by Anonymous | reply 105 | April 16, 2021 12:52 PM |
This so stupid. Tons of guys in gay porn identify as straight, even away from the camera in their private lives.
Now whether you would consider them straight is completely up to you.

My pole...poll...needs polishing.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 28, 2015 3:42 AM |
OP can rail against human nature with his tiny little fists all he wants.
But science shows that most people are potentially bisexual, though most are more strongly oriented to one gender than both.
That means some women-oriented men, who prefer and usually have sex with females, will turn to gay sex for money, curiosity or attraction.
Call them bisexual, but don't act like bisexuals are equal or equally attracted to both genders -- few of them are.
Rent boys and gay-for-pay hustlers are as old as recorded history. Modern, gay chauvinism won't ever change that.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 28, 2015 7:17 AM |
Of course many of them live their lives outside of porn as a straight male....
However that doesn't make them any less bisexual/homosexual. Deep down they know the real truth.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 28, 2015 7:24 AM |
Well, R8, I asked if openly gay men had straight sex regularly in their daily lives and the results claim otherwise. But, one poster did put it interestingly: he said that heterosexuality appears to be flexible while homosexuality is not. I'm not surprised by these results.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 28, 2015 11:34 AM |
And you and that poster are ignorant, r10.
You don't get to just "appear" facts from your desires. You have to prove it scientifically with evidence and expertise.
Most people are potentially bisexual. That's what science says. Here's a good start, but you have a LOT of reading to do and listening to others' anecdotes, not just your chauvinist, self-righteous judgements:
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 28, 2015 3:20 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 11, 2015 4:01 PM |
Average. Sometimes they're faking their straightness (cf Pavel Novotny and that bearded blackmailer) but it does happen. Some G4Ps have even been arrested for (straight) rape after leaving porn. And I've correctly identified some performers as G4P even before getting to know about them based just on how bad their performance is.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 11, 2015 4:05 PM |
Not the performers, R30. You. What is your IQ since you believe gay for pay porn is real and believe that straight males do work in gay porn. Is your IQ high, average or low?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 11, 2015 4:10 PM |
Like I said, R31, it's a mixed picture. Some guys are pretending to be non-gay; but some others may be telling the truth, based not just on what is known about their personal (and criminal) lives but also on their piss poor performance.
Johnny Rapid can be sodomized on camera forever. But no truly gay guy solicits a 14-year-old girl for a threesome with his girlfriend.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 11, 2015 4:35 PM |
I can't determine if you have a high IQ, average IQ or low IQ R32. Just come out tell me your IQ and be sure to vote at the top.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 11, 2015 4:37 PM |
I guess I have an average IQ, because I take a middle-of-the-road position; on the one hand, I believe some G4Ps, such as Johnny Rapid, are really non-gay while others (such as Pavel Novotny) are really all about the cock.

by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 11, 2015 4:59 PM |
Having worked in the porn world, I can tell you that there are in fact straight guys who do gay porn. I've asked them why they do it, and in most cases it's that either they need the money, or they want to experiment without having to go full on gay. Many of them just have extraordinarily high sex drives and it doesn't matter which hole they fuck, but societal norms encourage them to live a straight life. And, let's face it, when you have someone willing to negotiate the parameters of a scene for you, it becomes a lot easier to engage in gay sex, and then you walk away from it, back to culturally accepted behavior, and were it not for the permanent recording that exists proving otherwise, a lot more straight guys would be far more willing.
That said, truly straight guys doing gay porn are rare, and I've seen more than a few who started out straight and ended up coming out.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 11, 2015 5:17 PM |
[quote]or they want to experiment without having to go full on gay
If you want to experiment with guys, you aren't really straight. It's not complicated. But yes, a lot call themselves straight.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 11, 2015 5:19 PM |
Experimenting when you're over 20 is definitely not heterosexuality.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 11, 2015 5:20 PM |
R38 "Many of them just have extraordinarily high sex drives and it doesn't matter which hole they fuck".
That simply is an absurd argument. If there are heterosexual men who don't care about the gender of the onwer of the hole then by default the same phenomenin should be obserbed among gay guys, but that's not the case.
If you being a heterosexual man think of and even search for men to fuck then you are not heterosexual, call it bisexuality in the case there is still attraction to females coexisting with this behaviour.
These absurd justifications simply don't work anymore.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 11, 2015 5:31 PM |
You're absolutely right, R41. But, there are a ton of gay men who love gay for pay porn. Just look at the threads on this site. The most popular threads on this site are the sean cody or corbin fisher threads. They average tens of thousands of views and there are countless threads, with the same xception of the anti-transgender threads that currently doninate this site.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 11, 2015 5:39 PM |
It depends on how you define straight, R39. I once hired an incredibly handsome, built guy who was willing to do a solo scene, but had to bring in a female cameraman because another guy in the room and he couldn't even get hard. Conversely, I hired a married, with children, guy who was so excited to get a dick up his ass that he came almost instantly. Both of them identified as straight. Neither of them had any experience with men prior to my casting call (as far as they were willing to admit). And here's where it gets hard to understand: this was the same guy in both accounts, just a few months apart. So what I'm saying is that even guys who identify as completely straight -- to the point of erectile disfunction in the company of men -- can go from one end of the spectrum to the other.
But R41, to call what I said absurd and then suggest that gay guys won't fuck women is, well.. absurd. I've also known tons of guys who identify as gay but still have sex with women. Regularly. And even marry them, to boot.
I won't name names, but one of the most popular gay porn stars working today brought his girlfriend with him to a shoot I did years ago. She sat in my office and did homework while we shot the scene. She met the guys who fucked her boyfriend. She didn't want to watch (which was good, I wouldn't have let her, and in fact, I was uncomfortable that she was even there, but when you have a scene scheduled, everyone shows up ready to go, and that's the only obstacle, you learn to deal), but afterward we all went out to dinner and had a pleasant meal.
Making porn has taught me a lot, including that we are too hung up on identity.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 11, 2015 5:41 PM |
You're hung up on identity too R43. You apparently dont hire openly gay men. But, who knows if you're even telling the truth.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 11, 2015 5:44 PM |
How do you get that, R43? In the hundreds of scenes I've shot, most were with openly gay men. Quite a few played the straight guy going gay for money game; it increases their hourly rate. Some really identified as straight. I didn't care so long as they performed, because that's what porn is, a performance.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 11, 2015 5:49 PM |
Sorry, R45 was in reply to R44.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 11, 2015 5:50 PM |
Hundreds of scenes? And, you can't say where you worked or link to any of your scenes? Is it a big secret?
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 11, 2015 5:51 PM |
No, I left the porn world and put it behind me. I sold my company and signed a nondisclosure agreement, so even if I wanted to, I couldn't reveal it. I'd be sued in a nanosecond. I'm fortunate that I was good enough to sell and the new owners want to keep that fantasy going.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 11, 2015 5:57 PM |
The "I don't care about the whole I fuck" is one of those super old answers you hear from men who cannot help feeling attraction to men but are afraid of acknowledging the feeling. Instead, they give in to the attrcation because they cannot help it for all the years they have repress it but sitting in a chair and think about the feeling and finally accept they like men is somethign that scares them a lot. R43
Having sex for money allows them maintain the illusion of a heterosexual identity. If they had sex with men out of pure attraction or feelings then they would see their illusion of heterosexulity fall apart.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 11, 2015 5:57 PM |
[quote] I left the porn world and put it behind me. I sold my company and signed a nondisclosure agreement, so even if I wanted to, I couldn't reveal it.

by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 11, 2015 6:01 PM |
it's porn...
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 11, 2015 6:01 PM |
This is an old documentary, but if you go to about 26:25 there is an explanation by the male actor as to how he feels about doing gay porn even though he identifies as straight. Sadly, he killed himself a few years later. Various reports said he had a meth problem and felt very conflicted about his job.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 11, 2015 6:05 PM |
The guy who killed himself in the video was obviously gay, hated himself and killed himself over it. He used too because of it. This is not new.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 11, 2015 6:07 PM |
Indeed, R49. Working in gay porn is like being a bartender in that respect; you're called on to be a psychologist without any training, so just listening and offering support gets you from point A to B.
Really, R50? You don't think that maintaining the fantasy is a thing? When you build a company around an identity (one that I fully admit I completely made up), it has value. You won't read about my company being sold, and you wouldn't believe me even if I told, because the value of it was in the name and the fantasy. I'm not claiming to be Sean Cody or anyone at that level. If I'd built his company, I'd still be doing it. But he and I are one of the few that were able to sell our companies in a market that doesn't value content of this nature (or perhaps you can tell me the last time you paid to watch porn).
But I'm happy to be out of porn and put it all behind me. Too much drama, too many flakes, and too much risk for the reward.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | November 11, 2015 6:10 PM |
R54, that's convenient.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 11, 2015 6:13 PM |
Well what can I say, R55? I sold my little porn empire for enough to launch a new business and not have to worry about how I was going to make the house payments for a little while. In fact, I'm coming up on an important milestone in starting any new business, lasting a couple of years without going bankrupt. The only reason I'm posting here today is that it's Veterans Day and the one employee I've hired for the new biz so far is an Iraq vet. I felt I had to close today to show him some respect. And I'm tired myself. Working 7 days a week takes a toll after a while.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | November 11, 2015 6:25 PM |
Common sense suggests that r32 is correct. While straight men in gay porn are probably pretty rare, I'm sure a few exist. If they need or want the money badly enough, people will do all manner of things—sexually and otherwise—that they don't enjoy or find appealing. Why would gay porn be the exception?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 11, 2015 6:42 PM |
Str8 guys perform in G4P porn like they perform in prison with other inmates.

by Anonymous | reply 59 | November 11, 2015 6:47 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 60 | November 11, 2015 7:17 PM |
It matters in the sense that homosexuality is usually vilified because of what people call "Gay For Pay" R59
The practice called G4P is common in bodybuilding. If you read about the topic on forums you will see that people depict homosexual men as the bad guys who are stalking and abusing the poor bodybuilder to make him do things that are against their "heterosexuality".
I'm sure the same vilification of homosexual men and homosexuality occurs in gay porn from men who identify as heterosexual and enter the industry.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | November 12, 2015 3:12 AM |
That is so true, R61. Forums like bodybuilding.com is a perfect example of what you describe. How is described it exactly correct, "gay men as the stalker abusing the innocent heterosexual". And, that's probably exactly what happens on that seancody porn site as well.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | November 12, 2015 3:56 AM |
Here's an article on gay for pay in bodybuilding.
[quote]Truth be told, many rich gay men are sponsoring bodybuilding events and athletes. It should not be a surprise that homosexual men are interested in paying for sex with bodybuilders. It happens very often, but since it’s not marketable all activity remains hidden from the unaware public eye. Bodybuilders are supposed to represent strength and masculinity – being gay does not quite fit the definition.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | November 12, 2015 4:11 AM |
Here is a great example of what R61 describes...gay men being the "boogeymen" in gay for pay. Nothing but homophobia in this forum. Read the poster's nickname too.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | November 12, 2015 4:21 AM |
The article exposes strength masculinity as dettached from male homosexuality. Obviously the dilusion of a heterosexual man who thinks strength and masculinity are heterosexual characteristics exclusively, pff!
Also, bodybuilding is not a sport but a beauty pageant. It is about muscular beauty. Nature made muscles to be sexually attractive and pleasing . Because of this and the fact that bodybuilders need to compete almost naked and hit suggestive poses and perform suggestive posing routines the activity is inherently erotic.
One should never forget that one of the main motivations for bodybuilders to become bodybuilders is to enhance their sexual attractiveness through muscle development. For many of them competing in bodybuilding is also sexually stimulating.
Bodybuilding is all about sex, hat theycall "g4p" is only one aspect of it all.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | November 12, 2015 4:34 AM |
While I was at bodybuilding.com, I came across this thread about gay marriage. I mean, it's just hate. Just pure, unadulterated hate.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | November 12, 2015 4:40 AM |
Exactly, R65.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | November 12, 2015 4:43 AM |
It is no wonder that bodybuilding fans tend to be very insecure men, usually men under 30 with all sort of fears regarding what scapes heterosexuality.
They see homosexual men as monsters hungry for sexy muscle men. Bodybuilders then are poor defenseless creeatures who are forced to do sexual stuff for other men. Poor little bodybuilders, they are so innocent...
No one ever mentions and discusses the fact that heterosexual prostitution also exists in bodybuilding.
Ironically, most bodybuilders who do the G4P thing and even those who don't do it are not as sexually insecure as the fans.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | November 12, 2015 4:51 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 69 | November 12, 2015 5:03 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 70 | November 12, 2015 5:05 AM |
That's exactly the word "predatorial". That's how bodybuilding fans portray gay men.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | November 12, 2015 5:32 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 72 | November 12, 2015 7:58 PM |
The OP's question is useless and judgmental. Ultimately, porn is performance art. The actors are there to act and they can declare their "porn persona" in however way they or the studios wish. Filming porn is never about the pleasure of the performers involved and if you have ever seen a real life porn shoot you would understand why (frequent breaks to rearrange angles and equipment, the long hours needed for each scene). The performers doesn't have to be into each other (regardless of gender) at all as long as they can get it up (drugs) and cum (pure physical response). For any clear-eyed porn actor, they know it is a job, nothing more.
As for whether these performers are actually gay or bi or whatever in the Kinsey Scale, unless you know the actor himself on the personal level, you might never know. We already know some studios describe gay actors as straight to drum up the "straight guy" appeal (Corbin Fisher, i am looking at you). They are basically cloaked in a persona not unlike pro wrestlers or actors. We don't expect Dwayne Johnson to act like The Rock when he gets off the WWE show, and we don't question non porn straight actors when they get roles playing gay (or the other way around) , right?
by Anonymous | reply 73 | November 12, 2015 8:15 PM |
