This one called "What about me" by Ennio Morricone for the Lolita score has the most perfect combination of sad wistful nostalgia...
Ennio Morricone's beautiful orchestral soundtracks topped any by Pino Dinaggio or John Williams.

I have this on CD and every time I play it, I feel it. The musical score perfectly captured what that movie was about. (Casualties of War=Main Theme)

Joshua Radin's Winter...but it may be because of Scrubs. How did John C. McGinley not win the Emmy for this episode?

Stan Rogers' "Thr Mary Ellen Carter" makes me cry eve y time I hear it, not from sadness but pure intensity of emotion. I literally well up every single time. It's embarrassing.

You Are the Pan — John Williams (“Hook” soundtrack). That scene and song breaks my heart (sad part is in the middle of the track).

Pachelbel's Canon in D tugs at my heartstrings. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Canon" rendition of it especially so. I've cried listening to that song on the radio during the holidays. I have no idea why, but it triggers overwhelming feelings of nostalgia and sadness, mixed with a weird sort of elation. I think it's just a beautiful, timeless piece of music.
