Who is your favorite Byrd?

Mine is Gene Clark. Love his post-Byrds music and he was gorgeous before the drugs & booze wrecked him.

Anyone have any good gossip about the band?

David Crosby´s middle name is Van Cortlandt. In the early days of New York the Van Cortlandts were ultra high society and owned huge swathes of land along the Hudson River. Van Cortlandt Park ( a huge park in the Bronx) is named after them.

Read a recent interview with some of the band members and learned "Eight Miles High" was inspired by their first trip to London, being disoriented with jet lag the first morning. I love it. It's the ultimate jet lag song.

The adorable and talented Chris Hillman.
