I'd be more intrigued if it was on a cable network. Having it on broadcast TV is pretty lame. Part of what made Cruel Intentions popular was that it was considered edgy.

R4, originally they did a prequel pilot called "Manchester Prep" starring Amy Adams as Kathryn. I think it was for NBC, if I recall correctly. NBC passed on it because it was too risqué, and it got released direct-to-video as Cruel Intentions 2.

R17 That makes me sad for SMG, she could've had Batman Begins and other big movies she was put forward for in the 00s but she shit the bed and ended up with a one season show on CBS and a failed pilot based on a movie she starred in when she was a teenager.

I was always a Sarah Michelle Gellar fan, but it's amazing how much her acting hasn't improved.
