Matt Jackson- Jeopardy!

He's been on a 10-day winning streak. He is very smart, and has this kind of creepy smile. I don't really know why, he's a little odd, and I find him strangely attractive. Again I don't know what it is about him. Any other Jeopardy watchers on here see him recently.

By not smiling he's trying to act straight. Matt mentioned his Jewish grandfather and black mother.

by Anonymousreply 1October 9, 2015 9:10 PM

Ratings must be slipping so they make the show easier for awhile.

by Anonymousreply 2October 9, 2015 9:11 PM

OP I watch Jeopardy religiously! Who cares about the guy's smile. I'm just in awe of how incredibly intelligent he is.

by Anonymousreply 3October 9, 2015 9:12 PM

He's uncomfortably wound tight and has shifty eyes.

by Anonymousreply 4October 9, 2015 10:50 PM

He has stubby peasant fingers.

by Anonymousreply 5October 9, 2015 10:59 PM

Reminds me of Steve Moses from this past Big Brother.

by Anonymousreply 6October 9, 2015 11:27 PM

He's going to eat these two butterball opponents today and spit them out. I have wondered if he falls on the autism spectrum. He's very smart for being so young, and must have a photogenic memory. You can tell Alex likes him too.

by Anonymousreply 7October 12, 2015 9:38 PM

Tonight, he needs to hold up 11 digits.

by Anonymousreply 8October 12, 2015 9:43 PM

He tends to go blank on popular culture.

by Anonymousreply 9October 12, 2015 9:44 PM

Aspergers.

by Anonymousreply 10October 12, 2015 9:45 PM

He's not as cute as Ken Jennings is today, much less in his prime.

[quote] and must have a photogenic memory

He does - I've seen a picture of his memory, and it looked gorgeous.

by Anonymousreply 12October 12, 2015 9:51 PM

He's a MACHINE! How the fuck did he come up with DANUBE for those tributaries?

by Anonymousreply 13October 12, 2015 9:53 PM

Aspie.

by Anonymousreply 14October 12, 2015 10:33 PM

He's a bit off today. Maybe Alex told him to hold back before he busts his hot load of knowledge allover the show today

by Anonymousreply 15October 12, 2015 11:07 PM

I bet he'd let you rim and finger him just a little.

by Anonymousreply 16October 12, 2015 11:37 PM

What is asparagus Alex?

by Anonymousreply 17October 12, 2015 11:42 PM

He's extremely bright and queeny. I'm watching Jeopardy again regularly because of him! :-)

by Anonymousreply 18October 13, 2015 12:02 AM

He speaks in a choppy rhythm. Is that an Asp symtom?

by Anonymousreply 19October 13, 2015 12:09 AM

He lies in bed rigidly without talking waiting to be mounted.

by Anonymousreply 20October 13, 2015 12:11 AM

I was thinking Assburgers also. He looks and acts like a fucking psychotic. I wouldn't fuck him with Alex's dick.

by Anonymousreply 21October 13, 2015 12:32 AM

Major creepazoid. I do like it when he talks over Alex tho. No sex appeal whatsoever.

by Anonymousreply 22October 13, 2015 3:00 AM

He's mentioned living with roommates.

I cannot picture him with a girlfriend.

by Anonymousreply 23October 13, 2015 3:16 AM

[quote] He speaks in a choppy rhythm. Is that an Asp symtom?

Well, he didn't learn it from me.

by Anonymousreply 24October 13, 2015 3:19 AM

I hate board jumpers who mess everything up with their choices of questions. But it works. The guy is a machine.....

He will eventually be defeated by someone - who will then be defeated the next day.....

by Anonymousreply 25October 13, 2015 3:48 AM

Is Alex Trebek gay?

by Anonymousreply 26October 13, 2015 4:00 AM

He smiles like Rosie.

R26 until Alex got married late in life, he and mama lived together. Shades of Clifton Webb.

by Anonymousreply 28October 13, 2015 11:23 PM

Years ago would Matt be called a Savant?

by Anonymousreply 29October 13, 2015 11:24 PM

He made it past the 400k mark today. How many more wins you think he has in him?

by Anonymousreply 30October 14, 2015 1:31 AM

He didn't know Allen Ginsburg. Interesting.

by Anonymousreply 31October 14, 2015 1:33 AM

He always finds the daily doubles. That's when he bets big, and gets ahead of the competition.

by Anonymousreply 32October 14, 2015 2:13 AM

He looks a little like the elder son on "The Goldbergs."

by Anonymousreply 33October 14, 2015 2:20 AM

I bet he's going to be the first Jeopardy contestant to go on to be a serial killer.

by Anonymousreply 34October 14, 2015 2:25 AM

He didn't know Allen Ginsburg. Interesting.

R31. and that is a bad thing he didn't know anything about a creep who liked little boys?

by Anonymousreply 35October 14, 2015 2:27 AM

I wonder how many people come on thinking they'll be the one to beat him. Then find themselves losing very badly.

by Anonymousreply 36October 14, 2015 2:46 AM

I hope you're not serious, r35. And it's "Ginsberg."

by Anonymousreply 37October 14, 2015 9:31 AM

[quote]He must have a photogenic memory.

As long as you shoot it from the left.

by Anonymousreply 38October 14, 2015 9:59 AM

With his knowledge, wonder why Matt is still a Paralegal?

by Anonymousreply 39October 14, 2015 10:33 AM

Someone should check his car trunk, because my bet is there already bodies in there.

by Anonymousreply 40October 14, 2015 11:39 AM

R39, I thought the exact same thing. Perhaps he's so good that he gets paid really well. Or maybe he's so creepy that only a paralegal job is best suited for him; a behind the scenes kinda guy. I would think with his smarts he could have gone onto law school. Plenty of them in DC.

by Anonymousreply 41October 14, 2015 2:13 PM

Maybe he is on the spectrum and has trouble with the social dealings that being a lawyer would require. Behind the scenes research work like paralegal stuff might best suit him. I don't think he's creepy, just different.

by Anonymousreply 42October 14, 2015 3:57 PM

Did anyone see how he did today? Missed it and forgot to record it.

by Anonymousreply 43October 14, 2015 9:59 PM

DEFEATED!!! And by a Broadway queen!!

by Anonymousreply 44October 14, 2015 10:15 PM

[quote]Years ago would Matt be called a Savant?

The term is actually idiot savant.

by Anonymousreply 45October 14, 2015 10:18 PM

[quote]With his knowledge, wonder why Matt is still a Paralegal?

For the same reason you can't memorize a book and be a doctor. You have to APPLY your knowledge not just repeat it back like a parrot.

by Anonymousreply 46October 14, 2015 10:20 PM

[quote]I wonder how many people come on thinking they'll be the one to beat him. Then find themselves losing very badly.

Kind of like the aged geriatric fags on this board thinking a hot young stud will fuck them, then leaving at 2am closing time alone.

by Anonymousreply 47October 14, 2015 10:21 PM

Is wearing the same green shirt and green tie every day a sign of Asps?

by Anonymousreply 48October 14, 2015 11:04 PM

R44, where are you and at what time did the show air? It's on in New York now ... at 7:00PM.

by Anonymousreply 49October 14, 2015 11:08 PM

How far ahead do they tape?

by Anonymousreply 50October 14, 2015 11:25 PM

Doh! Guess who just lost?

by Anonymousreply 51October 14, 2015 11:30 PM

Really?!?!

by Anonymousreply 52October 14, 2015 11:40 PM

Let the serial killing begin!

by Anonymousreply 53October 14, 2015 11:46 PM

Bye Felicia.

by Anonymousreply 54October 14, 2015 11:57 PM

Can you imagine how much money Merv Griffin made from Jeopardy? It's in a ton of different countries. They all must have had a licensing agreement with him.

I remember when it was on 12 noon every day. When the noon whistle blew, I had to go home for lunch and my mother and I would watch Jeopardy. I got every single question right for years and years once I hit my 20s, but I would never go on the show because I knew I wouldn't get the buzzer timing correct and I'd lose bigtime, disappointing my family. Now I don't know a lot of current culture questions because I stopped going to the movies and paying attention to music.

by Anonymousreply 55October 15, 2015 12:04 AM

The new champion is a certified gay right??

by Anonymousreply 56October 15, 2015 12:11 AM

The new champ once saw every new play on Broadway, one year... so gay, right?

by Anonymousreply 57October 15, 2015 1:11 AM

Do you have to ask?

by Anonymousreply 58October 15, 2015 10:40 AM

I liked watching him play. I bet the new guy gets beat today.

by Anonymousreply 59October 15, 2015 3:10 PM

He's very well educated and must have a photographic memory. He was sent to Georgetown Day School. Then he went to Yale. His mother is an attorney.

by Anonymousreply 60October 15, 2015 4:19 PM

One day champ!

Wow the new champ is annoyingly LOUD.....hopefully he gets beaten on Friday!

by Anonymousreply 61October 16, 2015 3:54 PM

As for Matt being just a paralegal, he's only 23.

by Anonymousreply 62October 16, 2015 7:34 PM

Glad to see Matt back on Jeopardy.
