What happened to the Lifetime movie network?
My cable provided finally got the network, and it's pretty much the same movies they currently show on Lifetime. Nothing over ten years old.
Where's my Judy Light, Merry Baxter Birney classics?
Where in the fuck is Patty Duke and Valerie Bertinelli?
Shit, If they rerun those VC Andrews flicks one more time!

OP, Lifetime/LMN doesn't own the rights to most of those old TV movies anymore - they showed them to death for years, and since they've invested a lot in producing their own TV movies since the early 2000s, that's mostly what they show now, along with reality programming inherited from old networks like Killer Kids. I guess they also wanted to freshen up the network and leave the 80s and 90s behind.
It's too bad - one of those nostalgia networks should start a movie of the week channel and really dig deep in the vaults.

it's just called LMN now, and the focus is no longer on only showing movies. They are now showing a lot of the A&E/Bio Networks programming on that channel.

I confess that when I get off nights and I'm getting ready for bed, I'll see if there's anything new posted on Youtube. Here's one I watched the other morning.

LMN still has some great/awful movies. I just watched "Cleveland Abduction" starring the incomparable Taryn Manning, and a movie aboutthat Survivor producer who killed his wife. The real guy is actually hotter than Colin Eggslesfield.

i'm trying to find out a male star that appeared in most life line movies. i don't know if he has a son but an actor appears in AAA commercials about joining AAA membership and he looks just like him but as a younger version. does any one know his name? hes very masculine looking with light brown hair and chizel features and very rugged looking but very handsome.

I feel like there's some kind of Constitutional right to Lifetime Made for TV Movies, On Demand.
Someone check the books...

I kind of miss the days when the Big 4 networks would make campy TV movies and then Lifetime or LMN reaired them a bunch of times. I loved Death of a Cheerleader and the movie about sorority hazing that starred Hilary Swank and Mark Paul Gosslear.
