It's pretty much scientific consensus that the prevalence of men who have sex with men at least once in their lifetime (3-16%) is higher than the percentage of men who identify as bisexual or gay (usually around 2-4%). So, yes, it can be assumed that a not completely insignificant amount of straight-identified men have had or will have sex with other men at one point in their lives. The vast majority of them will not however.

I agree that the percentage is really not that large - but likely much larger than will ever be reported. The stigma is so great (in reality, women shame m/m sex more severely than other straight men ever could) that many men who actually are curious or have some sexual desire for men - will never actually act on these desires.
