I have decided that I will be retiring from racing after the 2016 season. The last two years have changed me as a person and as a driver. There is no way I couldn't have been affected by what has happened in the past two years.
I would like to thank all my Datalounge fans. As I have always said since I started frequenting this site, I love all my fan: gay or straight. We race not only because we love driving and competing but for the fans of this wonderful sport.
I feel confident with leaving Nascar as a driver, because there is a wealth of young and talented drivers in our sport. I will continue to serve as co-owner of SHR, so I won't be totally gone from Nascar. I also have my dirt racing team that I will be involved in as well.
