What are your favorite Kiehl's products?

Their stuff was better before they sold the company. I'm glad I can just get all that stuff for free.

For years l loved the Ultra Facial Cream, but switched to coconut oil because it's all natural and offers a combination of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-bacterial and hydrating properties. My skin has never looked so good. You can apply a few drops of the oil to your face or whip it into cream in a food processor. I also use coconut oil instead of Kiehl's No.1 lip balm, which is far superior.

I only use it because it's free. Can't stand the facial fuel. It's too oily.

The anti-wrinkle cream with SPF - the best sunscreen ever. No chalky face, no scent, absorbs beautifully and not greasy at all. It's definitely not cheap but I've gone through at least a dozen jars. im very pleased.

Would it kill Kiehl's to bring back their hair volumizer? Apparently, it would. Every time I buy something there I tell the sales clerk it would be great to have it back. Someday I'll tell the right person.

You can't walk into their shops without some asshole throwing samples at you.

Their leave-in conditioner was good; nice control without stiffness or odor. Fortunately, there are enough generic versions for $1.

Kiehl's, like Bose, is a major triumph of marketing. They got the early in on overpriced products that climber Boomers think they need to appear aspirational. In reality, they have one product that is barely exceptional: the Creme Silk Hair Groom, and that can only be used by a small portion of the population as it's massively oily. The rest of their products are crap and you'd be better served by buying shit from the drugstore for literally 1/10th of the price.

I love facial fuel moisturizer, facial fuel body wash = both have caffeine in em for re-engergizing skin. The facial fuel no-shine lip balm is a must.

One of my favorite products was the Kiehls Cryste Marine Firming Eye Treatment. Loved it and it worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, when they revamped everything, they discontinued it.

As a gayling who suffers from eczema between my eyes and upper cheeks Kiehl's jojoba moisturizer was a savoir, however, it is no longer made. Any others have a product they use that helps to treat eczema?

This is why the Kiehl's product was a savior. The issue I have with shea butter, baby oil or other oils is they are all so greasy and oily. I feel like I shine from a mile away when I use them.

I am sorry if I was too snarky. My dermatologist will direct me to things that are not so-called "big pharma", in other words old faithful treatments, or so called natural products. Point I was trying to make is that a special doctor can sometimes come up with a solution that is effective and therefore worth the purchase price.

R40 you might want to try that stuff mentioned at R39 or read the reviews. People who use the product claim a little goes a long way and it isn't greasy or shiny.

Do those makeup companies still produce "facial tonic"? I think the main purpose of tonic was to take up 60% of the "free bonus gift set." It was to "set" your skin after you washed it, abraded it, buffed it, applied a drying vitamin cream to it and moisturizered it.

I love their exceptional products! The Amino Acid shampoo is on my all-time favorite list.

Personally, I like Mario Badescu products. Their skin care formulations are really fresh yet effective.

One good point that Paula makes repeatedly is that jar packaging degrades whatever active ingredients a product contains.

The calendula toner works, but Weleda's calendula baby products are better buys. Kiehls imperial cuticle cream works.

R36 La Roche lipikar for eczema. My BF swears by it.

Kiehl's is popular because it's cool and accessible luxury. It's not that much more than Neutrogena but feels cooler and the stores have decent customer service.

That said, a lot of their stuff isn't that great. They have a few standouts. the shampoos and the creme de la corps are good and if they make your skin feel good, enjoy them.

Creme de Corps for sure, and whatever the oily face cleanser is in the blu-ish bottle. Though I haven't used that for a while.

Most of Kiehls stuff is garbage but I do like

The Avocado Eye Cream. (If they would put it in a pump it would be 10 times more effective- Jar anything gets so many germs in it)

Amino Acid Shampoo- The best smelling shampoo ever. Ever.

Midnight Recovery Concentrate- Its a good oil but the ingredients are supposedly irritating for some- I love it. The smell too. It smells like a sleep time. It really does work.
