New Jersey Woman Admits to Administering Fatal Dick Injection
This week, an unlicensed cosmetic surgeon pled guilty to reckless manslaughter for injecting silicone into a New Jersey man’s penis, killing him, the Associated Press reports.
As part of her plea deal, prosecutors agreed to drop additional charges related to illegal breast and buttock injections she allegedly administered while awaiting trial.
According to police, Kasia Rivera, 38, performed the botched penis enlargement procedure on 22-year-old Justin Street in her home on May 6, 2011. From NJ.com:
The injection shot directly into Street’s bloodstream, shutting down his organs, and he died as a result the following day, authorities said.
A medical examiner later determined Street died from a silicone embolism, and his death was ruled a homicide, authorities said.
Answering questions from her attorney, Olubukola Adetula, Rivera on Tuesday acknowledged she was not trained as a medical doctor and she was neither trained nor licensed to administer the silicone injection. “You injected the silicone into his penis?” an Essex County prosecutor reportedly asked Rivera in court on Tuesday.
“Yes,” she replied.
In exchange for her guilty plea, prosecutors recommended a five-year prison sentence for Rivera, who, as a native of Jamaica, also faces possible deportation. Her sentencing is scheduled for October 19.

This woman is of course responsible but wo int world goes to some stranger's house for cosmetic surgery?? This is exactly like the recent case in Philadelphia where a woman was injecting silicone and other materials into people's bodies at her home and in hotel rooms. Again, who has this done and thinks it's a good idea?

This is a clear violation of both the Penal AND Penis Code.

He was a nice looking man. Very nice smile. At 22 he was already the father of two young sons ..... so he obviously was getting laid and what he was packing was serviceable.
Sometimes people who do this illegal stuff are looking for outrageous body enhancements that licensed doctors won't do (HUGE asses or titties, etc) .......... weird fetish things .......... wonder if he was perfectly average and went for some elephantitis type shit.

Who, R4? Apparently there are all sorts of "underground" body modification/plastic surgery butchers out there, for those who want plastic surgery and can't afford an MD or any sort of safety precautions. Like that woman who injected Fix-A-Flat into people's butts, there are others out there.
It's possible that this grew out of the drag/trans/she-male world, where illegal off-market silicone injections have been a thing since the early sixties and the invention of injectable silicone.

It all started in the late 1960s with Joann Layne, the woman in the YouTube tribute video below (she died three years ago). The godmother of silicone pumping in the US, she started out working as a nurse for a cosmetic surgeon in NYC named Dr. Felix Shiffman, who had a large trans clientele and taught her how to inject silicone before it was so tightly regulated by the FDA.
Joann went on to train other pumpers around the country—unfortunately, those pumpers trained others who didn't know what they were doing, or who cut corners with industrial-grade silicone, bathroom caulk, mineral oil, etc. (Joann had a pipeline to real medical-grade silicone through Dr. Shiffman, and she supplied it to the "doctors" she trained.) Amazingly, she never got in trouble with the law as so many other pumpers have.
In 2005 she self-published a roman à clef/memoir about the late-'60s NYC drag/trans scene called [italic]The Champagne Slipper;[/italic] the FX series [italic]Pose[/italic] was said to partially based on her book.

Wow. I didn’t know JoAnn had passed. She did my butt back around 2000. No problems with her work, and she was a sweet lady.

Btw: JoAnn told me at the time she did more gay men’s butts than tranz at that point in time. (Her client before me was a gay man)

If she got the 5-year sentence, she's out now. Was she deported?
