New conventional wisdom is that young gays coming up tend to be more into sports than ever before. I hope this won't be taken the wrong way, but I see a similar track to that taken with women and sports which started in the 70s. Women were few and far between both behind the screen and in front of it with NFL and NBA 40 years ago. Then stating with Jayne Kennedy and the Boomers, now women are as big a demo with the NFL as men are. And the NBA isn't far behind. What better venue for viewing beautiful bodies and male bonding than that of sports?
