A lot of shows are not selling including Janet and Madonna. Janet hasn't had a hit in years and has kept a low profile so the interest isn't as strong; Madonna created too much negative word-of-mouth with MDNA coming on late and performing few hits. She has priced herself out of the market. Nobody is paying those prices and her ridiculous VIP prices are another reason why people are not buying. People are tired of these ridiculous VIP scale of tickets. They're all really the same because in the end you get some shitty laminate and spend more money than you should have.

Saw the tour the other night.

First, the place was only about 3/4 full. Definitely not sold out. The day of, floor tickets were selling for $30.

Second, I would give the show an A+ - it was that good, and that fun. It was 90 minutes of singing/dancing, with maybe one two-minute costume change in the middle. Lots of energy. Probably 90% of crowd was standing and dancing along the whole time. It was nice, too, that there was only one Michael reference when she sang 'Scream'.

I'm not the biggest Janet fan, but I've listened to her music over the years. She basically did a 90 minute extended mix of her biggest songs, and it was perfection.
