I followed Paul for years after his career. He was dishonorably discharged due to an officer who saw his prior videos just a few years before "don't ask don't tell" was overturned. The legal fight over his discharge cost him large amounts of money and he began drinking and had a hard time adjusting to his new life. He worked for a while in private security, then comments about his porn past were made on a gossip site after he was photographed assisting a female celebrity at LAX. He has also done some private training, sober coaching, and a variety of temp gigs but, his sobriety has been a problem when trying to find success.
