Bumping this old ass thread because I just watched the whole series. I think the main issue is the lead actor (Jimmy Fowlie?) doesn't realize he can't act. Sometimes the dialogue is fairly funny, but the acting never lands it.

That's nice r16. You should tell him to focus writing.
I will say Scott Evans was actually pretty decent, his role isn't big but he always lands his lines. I had never seen him act outside of this.
Also was surprised to see Heather Morris in this, I assume she must be friends with Jimmy. (r16, is that you Heather?!)

Jimmy is an improv guy and hilarious at it. I agree he'd be best served to find a producing partner who can construct solid stories from his improvisations. I hope he has the opportunity to build on the foundation he's been laying.
