This is not exactly on-topic, but why is it that one never sees any one referred to as a porn "actor" or a porn "performer." It is always porn "star." Even those just starting out in the "business" are referred to as porn "stars." This is equally true of the "straight media." When Stormy Daniels was all over the news nearly all of the main-steam media referred to her as a porn star, rather than an adult film actress (which seems biased to me).
