Hillary's Team Piles On The New York Times For Its Mistaken Email Story
Howard Dean ✔@GovHowardDean The New York Times truly has become an embarrassment to American Journalism. Second anti HRC story in three months THEY GOT WRONG!

by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 26, 2015 12:29 AM |
This story has gotten me extremely angry. Journalism 101: you do not print a story as damaging and as salacious without full proof evidence of wrongdoing. Michael Schmidt and the other douche wanted the full effect felt and it blew up in their face. Rumors suggest they were fed by Trey Gowdy. How could they run with this story?
She's been accused of everything imaginable and it's piling on to one person constantly. How would any of you feel if you were constantly attacked. No one who has been attacked so frequently would be able to stand for as long as HRC has. Heads need to be rolled at NYT.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 26, 2015 12:32 AM |
It's Trey Gowdy, r4. He's the "high government official."
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 26, 2015 12:33 AM |
Someone is working overtime planting stories. What's going to eventually happen is the public is going to be so used to the stories being proven bogus that if a real scandal comes along, they're not going to believe it.

Perhaps, R7, but I wouldn't count on it.

Nah. Not in this case. The public quickly got the followup and it made headlines that the newspaper was in serious trouble for printing an outright lie, not to mention it being the THIRD time it did so.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 26, 2015 12:43 AM |
Too many stories about Hillary have all eventually blown up.
The public is so used to bull shit against Hillary that we ignore it. Heck, when I first heard the story was out, I didn't even read it.
It just shows her challengers really have nothing on her.

Hilary, Jeb, the DOJ, the RNC, the DNC or the NYTimes?
Answer? All of them, since all of them are fascist shills for the "status quo"!
We had a shot with Ron Paul, but now we have to contend with Donald the Oleaginous.
When someone as heinous as Donald Trump is even considered by a large minority as a serious contender for Prez, you have to accept that the federal government itself has reached a terminal state.
Secession by liberal states is the only solution.

Trey Gowdy is the man leading the witch hunt on the Benghazi hearing. He replaced Darryl Issa when Issa got kicked off the committee. HRC has been wanting to testify but the committee keep delaying and delaying. Just today, they said there won't be a scheduled hearing on Oct. 22nd. It's not about Benghazi. It never has been. It's about destroying HRC and her chances.

After the Black Lives Matter fiasco, they went on such a racist tangent it was unbelievable. They will do anything to protect this man.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 26, 2015 1:10 AM |
The GOP is salivating for a Bernie Sanders win just as much as the Democrats are salivating for a Trump or Jindal win. The far, far left is going to kill the party by electing a Socialist. Nevermind that Sanders has always called himself a Socialist -- not a Democrat. I don't understand why he's running in our Primary. I would O'Malley and Webb over Sanders any day of the week.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 26, 2015 1:11 AM |
r35 they were pretty nasty on Twitter, too. Basically telling black people they should be voting for Bernie because "he marched with MLK 50 years ago." This started the hashtag #Berniesoblack. Funny stuff that day.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 26, 2015 1:13 AM |
How has Sanders not registered as a Democrat yet??! Has this ever happened before, a guy from another party running for the nomination of a party he's not a member of without changing affiliations? Jim Webb switched in order to run a few years ago, which is why his rhetoric is all Right-wing.
I think Obama's win really had an affect on these people -- they think that if he can get elected, Bernie can. Bernie is not Barack Obama, nor are we getting over a Bush White House and a Palin opponent. Obama is a good looking politician, who's black and represented a dramatic shift from the Bush years. He's still a Democrat. He's not a Socialist, nor is he an Atheist, or Jewish, and certainly isn't going to be five years away from 80 years old. Bernie's also from friggin' Vermont. Socialism = Nazism to Americans, and what's worst, the thing that the majority of Americans are NOT ready for, when polled, is an Atheist president. Put and Atheist with the word Socialist together and you've got the Soviet Union in the eyes of America. Those godless commies. We only added "In God We Trust" and "one nation under god," a little more than a half century ago to not be godless like the Soviets.
Bernie doesn't have the minority vote, and he certainly won't get the vote of anyone who was born around the time of the Red Scare. So he's going to get the vote of white far-Left liberals and some college students and that's going to win an election?!
His supporters don't understand that the president is not a King or Queen. They need to go through Congress, and Congress is currently held by Republicans. Bernie is throwing pipe dreams out there and they're eating it up like crazy.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 26, 2015 1:20 AM |
Jim Webb is not rightwing. He's just part of a dying breed of Southern Democrats. Strong on defense and conservative on social issues, but very liberal on economic issues that effect the poor.
Sanders is full on Socialist and too much of a coward to run as an Independent so he's latched himself to the Democratic Party Primary. Through out his career he's been very adamant that he's not a Democrat. Okay. So why are you running in our Primary?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | July 26, 2015 1:27 AM |
