Will sexism kill Hillary's Presidential bid?

Anyone?

by Anonymousreply 55September 16, 2020 2:27 AM

no but her lying mouth will

by Anonymousreply 1July 22, 2015 1:41 AM

Unfortunately, R1 is right. No one believes her anymore. Very sad.

by Anonymousreply 2July 22, 2015 1:42 AM

OMG Just the miserable and old which counts for a smal % so it doesn't matter LOL

Get off my lawn!

by Anonymousreply 4July 22, 2015 1:57 AM

It's possible. America is full of juvenile idiots.

by Anonymousreply 5July 22, 2015 1:58 AM

It already did once. It probably will again.

by Anonymousreply 6July 22, 2015 2:00 AM

Who cares she's still gonna win at the end fuckers

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 7July 22, 2015 2:02 AM

No but her lying about losing public records might.

by Anonymousreply 8July 22, 2015 2:44 AM

R5 Yes, it's so "juvenile" to expect a Secretary of State follow the very rules she lectures her staff to follow. It's so juvenile to question why this one person, out of millions of options, is treated as so inevitable by some people.

by Anonymousreply 9July 22, 2015 2:46 AM

She did not lose the first campaign because of sexism. She lost because of her racism. Early polls had her ahead of Obama even among blacks.

by Anonymousreply 10July 22, 2015 2:50 AM

All the supposed lying she is doing are faux-scandals created by the GOP.

America has seen the GOP trying to demolish the Clintons for decades and we just collectively roll our eyes at this point.

Do you really care that Clinton had a personal email server (big fucking deal and so did Jindal. Jeb! still hasn't released 90% of his emails)? No one cares.

Benghazi? Vindicated by at least 4 GOP-led Congressional panels.

If anyone is telling lies, it's the GOP and America knows it.

by Anonymousreply 11July 22, 2015 3:33 AM

Sexism won't kill it, she'll do that just fine on her own. Kim Jong Un got his power because it was his turn as well you know.

by Anonymousreply 12July 22, 2015 3:45 AM

I'm ready for the first female President.

by Anonymousreply 13July 22, 2015 3:49 AM

[quote]I'm ready for the first female President.

Me too, she'll save the taxpayers 30% on the salary we'd have to pay a man.

by Anonymousreply 14July 22, 2015 3:52 AM

R11 Nope. Chris Stevens repeatedly asked for backup and was ignored. She sent a memo telling her staff what not to do, then broke the very rule her fellow Democrats had pushed for. Yes, this is all a big deal and there's much more.

by Anonymousreply 15July 22, 2015 3:56 AM

[quote] I'm ready for the first female President.

YES! America is ready for the first female POTUS and her name is: Hillary Clinton

R16 "Yes! I'm ready to succumb to my delusions!"

by Anonymousreply 17July 22, 2015 3:59 AM

It'll be too bad if our first female President had to marry her way to the position. A woman who rose to prominence on her own merits rather than her husband's would have been a greater inspiration to young women.

by Anonymousreply 18July 22, 2015 3:59 AM

As long as the glass ceiling is broken, it's all good R18.

by Anonymousreply 19July 22, 2015 4:05 AM

Sexism is not a problem for over-the-hill Hill. The American voter with more than one functioning brain cell is her problem. Arrogant fangurls who assume the voter is trite, naive and blind is her problem. The bottom line: Hillary Rodham Clinton is Hillary Rodham Clinton's problem.

by Anonymousreply 20July 22, 2015 4:08 AM

R18 it's not like she's going from First Lady to President. with nothing else to show for it. She went to law school and was an attorney before being First Lady. Afterward, she was a Senator, and after her first presidential bid floundered, the Secretary of State. She's accumulated quite a resume.

It's funny that the same people who accuse her of being the brains behind Bill's ascent and of being the woman behind the president during Bill's administration are also the same ones who denounce her because of her marriage.

by Anonymousreply 21July 22, 2015 7:35 AM

Fuck her.

by Anonymousreply 22July 22, 2015 9:19 AM

[quote]Fuck her.

Uh, no.

by Anonymousreply 23July 22, 2015 9:38 AM

[quote]She did not lose the first campaign because of sexism. She lost because of her racism. Early polls had her ahead of Obama even among blacks.

Blacks backed the black candidate. OMG, stop the presses!

by Anonymousreply 24July 22, 2015 2:06 PM

[quote]Arrogant fangurls who assume the voter is trite, naive and blind is her problem.

Sounds like Bernie's fangurls, not Hill's, who beats everyone in every poll she's put in.

by Anonymousreply 25July 22, 2015 2:07 PM

[quote]Unfortunately, [R1] is right. No one believes her anymore. Very sad.

Unfortunately, the country backs her over every Republican candidate, and every Democratic candidate. Sad, Bernie.

by Anonymousreply 26July 22, 2015 2:09 PM

R25 Like polls 16 months before an election actually mean something.

by Anonymousreply 27July 22, 2015 2:09 PM

Okay that was funny r24.

by Anonymousreply 28July 22, 2015 2:53 PM

Really r10, her "racism"? I have to say, I have followed every election carefully since Carter/Reagan in 1980, and this is the first I've heard of it.

by Anonymousreply 29July 22, 2015 2:55 PM

I still marvel at the large group of (whining) people pushing Bernie Sanders, who could possibly win 6-8 states vs. whichever weasel the GOP puts up. I guess the mean things they say about Democratic circular firing squads is all true.

by Anonymousreply 30July 22, 2015 2:57 PM

[quote]Will sexism kill Hillary's Presidential bid?

You mean like it did in 2008?

by Anonymousreply 31July 22, 2015 5:35 PM

nope not at all 2016 is Hillary's!

by Anonymousreply 32July 22, 2015 8:36 PM

R29 apparently, in 2008, Bill accused the Obama campaign of using the race card, and in turn Hillary's campaign was called 'racist.'

by Anonymousreply 33July 22, 2015 9:01 PM

r18 would vote for Michelle Obama if she ran in 2016, then accuse everyone who didn't vote for her of racism.

by Anonymousreply 34July 22, 2015 11:21 PM

[quote]It's funny that the same people who accuse her of being the brains behind Bill's ascent and of being the woman behind the president during Bill's administration are also the same ones who denounce her because of her marriage.

What the hell are you talking about? No one has ever said she is the brains behind Bill. What everyone does say, and is true, is that she used her marriage to a powerful man to get everywhere she is.

by Anonymousreply 35July 22, 2015 11:43 PM

[quote]No one has ever said she is the brains behind Bill.

You're either retarded or twelve-years-old. In the 90s, it was always "Hillary runs the White House."

by Anonymousreply 36July 22, 2015 11:46 PM

Yes, her racism. Hillary was in the lead until she leaked the Obama madrasa stories and started with the spook tactics that were so obviously planted by her camp. The Clintonite lowdown tactics backfired big time and just disgusted the media and the electorate, and got even more people on the Obama wagon. It is a fact that Hillary was polling better than Obama among blacks for most of 2007. This is why I laugh when people call Bernie unelectable and do not take him seriously. Obama was also seen in the same light, until people started to hear him speak and he started getting bigger crowds.

by Anonymousreply 37July 23, 2015 12:07 AM

Obama came after George W. Bush, you dingbat.

Bernie Sanders: 75-years-old, Socialist, Atheist, Jewish

You sound white and stupid.

by Anonymousreply 39July 23, 2015 12:12 AM

Are we really going to pretend Hillary was undone because of sexism? She was the party favorite for most of 2007 and was seen as the inevitable victor. She had one of the biggest falls of a Democratic frontrunner ever, only second to Howard Dean. She needs Axelrod if she wants to run a masterful campaign this time around.

by Anonymousreply 40July 23, 2015 12:35 AM

Yes OP. It already is.

by Anonymousreply 41August 12, 2015 11:41 PM

bump

by Anonymousreply 42August 14, 2015 6:58 PM

The conservative Dems on DL love Hil.

She can't win. Way too much baggage. No one will vote for her just because she's a woman (they shouldn't anyway, that's tokenism). If the Repukes nominate a far-right loon, she might win, but we all know they're going to go with Jeb Bush. She can't win against Bush. She is too unlikable, too conservative for young Dems to get excited about her, and then there's BILL. All that stuff about his affairs will come flooding out again, Gennifer flowers will be on TV every day, and Lewinsky will write another book. America won't go for it. As much as they're tired of Bushes, they'll be much more tired of Clintons.

I'd rather see Biden get the nod. He's a real liberal, he's likable, he has the Obama association.

by Anonymousreply 43August 14, 2015 7:05 PM

No, arrogance and an inability to face the music for her deeds will.

by Anonymousreply 44August 14, 2015 7:35 PM

I'm thinking a stroke will. Or Bill is going to Cosbyed. Then Hillary will have to try, with a straight face, to tell she knew nothing about it, didn't help smear her victims after the fact, and is indeed, as she has self-labeled herself, a "fierce advocate for women and children."

by Anonymousreply 45August 14, 2015 7:44 PM

In 2008 she was in it to win it. She wanted the job and she went after it with all she had. It was exhilarating;) to watch her on the stump. Unfortunately for her a couple of Obama operatives were able to put enough doubt in the minds of black voters, who were probably looking for a reason to abandon the Clinton's for Obama, who are we kidding, and that really hurt her. Plus, the Obama campaign used social media brilliantly and went after the youth vote like a Kennedy on steroids. Everyone else had written them off. I was disappointed tha Hillary didn't win the nomination in 2008. It's taken me years to appreciate just what a great President Obama has become. This time around she looks like she would rather be anywhere else than on the campaign trail. She doesn't appear to have the fight in her to do battle with a bunch of Bozos who shouldn't be running a dry cleaning store let alone the country. She's going through the motions because the Clinton's are all about making HISTORY. It's not gonna happen for her. Sad, but true. Isn't there anyone else in the Democratic party who qualifies for that job? Or has a fire in his or her belly to run? Castro perhaps? Did O'Malley give up? I haven't heard a thing about him in weeks.

by Anonymousreply 46August 14, 2015 8:00 PM

Crooked Cunt

by Anonymousreply 47August 15, 2015 11:00 AM

Sexism has nothing to do with it. Obama's Six-Point Plan , orchestrated by Valerie Jarrett, will sink Hill.

by Anonymousreply 48August 15, 2015 11:18 AM

To answer OP's question: No, but that's the excuse she'll settle on since she's vehemently against accepting personal responsibility.

If she were a man, like David Petraeus, nobody would say anything about her processing unclassified emails on an unclassified server!

by Anonymousreply 49August 15, 2015 11:20 AM

Some resume r21.

As senator, she accomplished nothing. And as SoS, she helped make the world less safe than it was before.

Zero accomplishments except having tits and a gash.

by Anonymousreply 50August 15, 2015 1:51 PM

This is Hilbot's 500-plus thread about Hillary Clinton. Enough, troll!
