As a New Yorker, Trump may have closer ties to the Clintons that he would to Obama. Rich people often support both sides in politics for their personal advantage.

R15 even if he's wrong on those states (and I hope he is), the concept is sound. Remember back in 2008 when Hillary was ahead in the national polls during the primaries but Obama had accumulated enough delegates that Hillary could not win?

We should not obsess on the national polls. State by state is how it's won and lost.

Frankly, this is what Bernie should have done. The GOP would have been more than happy to get rid of Trump. His threatening to run third party kept them honest.
