This summer I am enjoying:

authentic falafel with a side of baba and a side of tabouleh (authentic - basically parsley and lemon) in the best kabab joint in the red light district of Genève, with fizzy water

smoked wild salmon with crème fraîche and red onions on Swedish flatbread, coffee

cold cuts, cheese, olives, pickles and tapenade platter with COLD red wine

new-fangled store-made sea-weed wrapped rice "sandwiches", copious amounts of wasabi/soy sauce and a jar of sliced pickled ginger, with an american soccer mom sized glass of austrian riesling

by Anonymousreply 21July 15, 2015 3:54 AM

Lobster bisque with a caviar garnish, followed by shrimp, mussels, and broccoli over a heaping pile of linguine with Alfredo sauce. Freshly grated Parmesan and cracked pepper, please. Best meal I ever had. I was 18 and barely bloated.
