Teen Who Tried To Charge Phone On Broadway Stage Says Sorry
by Anonymous | reply 123 | November 17, 2020 12:04 AM |
And how many of us would fuck his hole?

[quote]“I didn’t know the stage is considered off limits,” Silvestri said, adding he now felt terrible for the performers. The Nassau Community College student vowed never to get onstage again “unless I decide to be an actor.”
What kind of barn was he raised in?

Millenials
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 11, 2015 4:18 PM |
No wonder so many girls call him -- the reason he was charging his phone.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 11, 2015 4:20 PM |
His playbill interview makes him seem like the selfish self-absorbed shitstain he is.
His parents must be so proud ... since they raised him this way. Didn't they have the sense to tell him not to ger onstage? His phone was sooooo important.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 11, 2015 4:21 PM |
That's a pretty weak excuse, not knowing the stage is "off limits." I wonder what else he doesn't know is off limits. Bank vaults? Touching museum paintings? Cousins?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 11, 2015 4:24 PM |
Where's Patti when you need her?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 11, 2015 4:27 PM |
Him and people like him will be running this country when we're all old. Weep now my friends.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 11, 2015 4:27 PM |
He knows it's off limits. Who would not ?
But he has to have the last word, and it's never his fault.
I bet he was brought up like that by the "my kid is never wrong" type of parents. Ho can they function in society after that ?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 11, 2015 4:28 PM |

I'm old now. Hopefully I'll be dead before these asshats "make their mark."
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 11, 2015 4:28 PM |
There have always been lots of dumbass kids, they're just more visible now with the internet.
And yes, he's cute.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 11, 2015 4:32 PM |
Trash. Why would you identify yourself? For the rest of your life,; this bullshit will come up when people search for you. This asswipe is just out for more attention.
Oh - and wtf was he doing downing drinks at 19 with his family before the show? OF COURSE he's from Long Island. That explains a lot.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 11, 2015 4:34 PM |
Typical douchebag who thinks he can get away with anything.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 11, 2015 4:37 PM |
This idiot was discussed on NPR's "Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!" this morning.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 11, 2015 4:37 PM |
He must be used to have people let him get away with anything because they think he is cute. Like some of my colleagues were about the Boston Marathon terrorist. "Oh noooo !!!! He's so cuuuuute!!!" Urgh!

And he was mentioned by name in the New York Times today. Forever enshrined in The Paper of Record as a thoughtless doofus. His parents must be so proud. At least they didn't mention the underage drinking part.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 11, 2015 4:43 PM |
In OP's link he gives what seems to be a very sincere apology. In the Playbill link he seems like an insufferable douchebag.

Jesus Christ, MARY! How dare someone who is 19 imbibe alcohol? It is legal for him to drink in almost every country on earth except this one. Plenty of parents understand the 21 year old drinking age is idiotic. God, my parents were fine me having a drink with them starting at like 17, I realized once I got to college I was a more responsible drinker than most.

Considering that the restaurant that served him could be fined or have their liquor license suspended, it was foolish of them not to ask for ID, parents or no parents. Wouldn't be surprised if a zealous NY Beverage Control officer was trolling his Twitter account, trying to find the name of the restaurant, and setting up a sting to see if they can catch them again.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 11, 2015 5:17 PM |
[quote]He is good looking guy, therefore I completely forgive him.
Of course you do. Yet you wonder why he behaves that way. I'm sure no ones ever told him that before or excused his behavior because they felt that way.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 11, 2015 5:22 PM |
His response of 'girls were calling all day. what would you do?" as the reason why he leapt onstage to charge his phone just makes my skin crawl. it just screams douchebag.

Nassau Community College???
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 11, 2015 5:29 PM |
Not the same guy R20 (that guy has a pic of his certificate from 2015 as a pharmacy tech, I think)
This is total bullshit. The guy is lying. This is a pre-Ariana Grande dare ........he wanted to charge his phone and someone in his group said 'Dare you to use that outlet on the stage'. He wasn't *that* drunk ........most theatre lobbies now have drink/snack/souvenir concession stands .......I am sure he could've 'flirted' his way into getting someone there to plug in his phone for a bit before the show. He didn't need it during the show, so if there was an intermission he could've picked it up then.
Everyone in his group knew he was doing it which is why his mother was so apologetic and nervous about getting kicked out.

Millenials are very defensive when they are criticised about being entitled and self-absorbed, but guess what? Ya' are, Blanche. Ya' are entitled and self-absorbed.

by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 11, 2015 5:42 PM |
I'm not sure what I find more disconcerting. That this happened or that there had to be a press conference for him to apologize for it.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 11, 2015 5:46 PM |
He's a Lawn Guyland ginzo. Those of you lusting after him can have him. We have to deal with these types every day and do not find them charming.

He didn't even actually disrupt the performance. He was drunk and stupid and the ushers corrected him before he had a chance to actually disrupt the show. BIG FUCKING DEAL.
Your hysterical overreaction to this shows you take the theater WAY too seriously, as if it were literally some sort of sacred space.

I'm curious. How do you arrange a press conference like this? Did his mother call up some publicist and pay for it? How does someone get a press conference in this situation?
by Anonymous | reply 81 | July 11, 2015 8:33 PM |
If you become a media celebrity due to some incident, you'll have reporters, photographers, etc., constantly snapping at your haunches, so it's better to have a press conference and get it over with.
On the other hand, poor Subway Jared hasn't surfaced. Hope he hasn't offed himself.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | July 11, 2015 8:45 PM |
[quote] I'm curious. How do you arrange a press conference like this?
You hire an agent. I'm sure his friends said, "Dude, you made the news! But they don't got your name (they are from L.I., so that's how they tawk). You should be famous. You gotta get out there, bro. You gotta brand yourself! Yo, seriously bro, you gotta get your brand out there!" So they looked up PR agents online, paid a fee to one of them and got a press conference.

Thanks for the link. I had to chuckle. Grew up with boys like that. He's in college (on the lacrosse team) woo woo. Did he write that? Doesn't seem to have written that since he had trouble reading it. Maybe he was nervous. But still didn't seem like his words.
I guess average IQ. Not too dumb, definitely not smart. He's charming and again I think he has some balls to stand there and apologise.

by Anonymous | reply 99 | July 12, 2015 4:21 AM |
Good looking or not, he's a cunt. How narcissistic he must be, thinking that his phone is important enough to charge during a performance. ( I know he tried to plug it in before the show started, but I'm assuming he meant to leave it there at least until intermission)
I don't own a smartphone, but do they ring or light up if a message or call is received while charging? That would be disruptive to the actors.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | July 12, 2015 4:21 AM |
His mom or dad probably hit him in the head and called him stunatu and made him apologise or they would revoke his allowance or beach time this summer.

R98 I don't think it's a lack of self worth he has but too much self worth. He felt entitled to crawl up on that stage because that's who he is. His needs come first, forget everyone else.
