Did they get it right?

Not completely. The pants are too short in 1945 and 1975 was a bit too late for polyester leisure suits with platform shoes.

They got the guy right - he's sweet eye candy - and somewhat of a queen when he dances.

So many of the looks were so poorly tailored it was laughable. Plus, so many of the early looks were business looks while the later decades were all casual looks, it really was apples and oranges. Stick with jeans.

It looked more the like the modern hipster intepretation of the clothes than the actual period costumes.

Fashion has been mordibund since 1995.

I wish I had one of him at home to dress up

The final shot should've been him taking off the underwear.

The 50s, 60s, and 70s ones are really hot. The 90s one is awful!

Not even close.

Fail. The suites and jackets are all modern 2020 tailoring. No attempt at era appropriate fitting. To my eye they are too snug and look two sizes too small. The pants are what we called high waters. Only hicks wore them. It was called drape for a reason.

By whom R7? For men the "break" of a trouser refers to the point where your pants touch your shoe.

Saturday Night Fever was released in 1977.

Yet another thread dug up from fucking five years ago. Just curious why you did that R6? We’re you searching for “Did they get it right?”

And these old threads are always resurrected with three or four word comments.

Could we have something similar, with underwear fashions through the century? Underwear off, new underwear on... With minor adjustments here and there....

Could it be the OP trying to breathe the life of his memories into the cold riverbed of reality? "No,, everyone laughed, damnit!"

It is it someone with an interest in driving traffic to the site? For ad revenue, perhaps.....

Our could it be the furthering of an ideal. A confidence that their way is the best way. "The only path here is the one I chose".

Narcissists.

"Fashion has been mordibund since 1995."

Oh, dear!

R10 Drape refers to jacket. Break refers to pants.
