Speak for yourself OP.

Neil Milan is so fucking hot, but his music is shit. Craig David fav album, fuck me sideways, what fucking shocking shit taste in music.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 6, 2015 8:58 PM |
I'm guessing Neil is a top and the man.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 6, 2015 9:19 PM |
This article is worth the read.
[quote]Three hours before he’s due onstage to headline the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Olly Alexander has a confession to make. “I miss my boyfriend,” he says. “Really badly.” Alexander is the frontman of the British pop trio Years & Years, and he’s the charming, open type. “Thank God for FaceTime,” he says. “It’s the savior of relationships, I swear.”
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 7, 2015 4:14 PM |
I'm listening to their new album now. It's actually really good!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 10, 2015 2:12 PM |
We didn't miss it. We just don't give a fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 10, 2015 2:26 PM |
What is his ethnicity, r10?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 10, 2015 4:19 PM |
Is Neil Indian ?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 10, 2015 6:31 PM |
Well they are talented and cute hipsters, at least! Years & Years disc out today is very nice. Milan Neil Amin-Smith (how many names does he need, and which is the official pop star name?) is a Cambridge grad and trained violinist and Clean Bandit was a huge huge success in 2014. Plus isn't he so handsome?!
Jealous much, bitches? They get each other, too!
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 10, 2015 6:54 PM |
I have to say I prefer Olly cause his singing is so adorbs! Plus he's on Penny Dreadful so I've seen more of him.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 10, 2015 6:58 PM |
PS, it seems he has had his ears tucked back recently :)
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 10, 2015 6:59 PM |
Cute guys, but Years and Years is garbage. I like Clean Bandit though.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 10, 2015 7:00 PM |
King is such nice electro-pop it gives me a semi. Plus its about young love and its complications. Doesn't take you back?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 10, 2015 7:10 PM |
R20, then you can't have heard their new album. It's really good actually.
R21, I thought it was about drugs? That's what I've read anyway, but it doesn't matter. It's a nice song, although I prefer Shine. Olly actually wrote the song about Neil.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | July 10, 2015 7:49 PM |
Neil is so gorgeous, and Grace is one of the nicest people, but their music sucks, so fucking hipster mainstream crap, his bf is the same with the shitty white kid trying it sing in that RnB warbling falsetto vocal, is fucking annoying. Just can't listen to either of their shit.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 10, 2015 8:08 PM |
r23 hater frau. i hope you chewed your face off in envy
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 10, 2015 8:18 PM |
Not likely r24, no doubt Neil Milan is hyper hot, but they are a shit band as witnessed in this embarrassing video, in partnership with Microsoft.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 10, 2015 8:53 PM |
Years & Years' new album is SO GOOD. Please everyone check it out, buy it and support an openly gay singer who isn't afraid of singing about his love life, even using male pronouns!
by Anonymous | reply 26 | July 11, 2015 7:32 AM |
This song is beautiful. Olly's got a really nice voice actually.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 11, 2015 11:12 AM |
Neil is East Indian mixed with English. His surname is Amin-Smith.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 11, 2015 7:00 PM |
I Want To Love by Years & Years. It's refreshing that he's using male pronouns.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 13, 2015 7:39 PM |
They are so cute together and who are they

[quote]They are so cute together and who are they
Olly Alexander is the frontman in Years & Years, Neil Milan is in Clean Bandit.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | July 16, 2015 6:47 PM |
Neil is the hottest guy on music.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | July 19, 2015 7:31 PM |
Thanks for the pic, R33, Neil is indeed very hot!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | July 20, 2015 7:40 AM |
In my opinion, as a huge Years and Years fan they are so cute and perfect together. I don't think we should critique their relationship saying one of them is ugly etc, we should be proud that their relationship has been openly discussed by themselves and the media but mostly has been embraced by the media and the music industry! Go on guys!!
by Anonymous | reply 35 | July 20, 2015 3:18 PM |
I love Years&years' debut album Communion, it's such a perfect pop album. And yeah Olly and Neil are really cute together.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | July 23, 2015 1:19 PM |
They are really cute together, its a shame that their music sucks and they have no personality or brains. I fell asleep 30 seconds in that interview.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | July 23, 2015 1:36 PM |
Cute couple
by Anonymous | reply 38 | July 23, 2015 2:19 PM |
I think Neil is an exclusive top.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | July 23, 2015 7:38 PM |
I think you're right R39.
As with Sam Smith, Olly Alexander's songwriting screams needy, whimpering bottom.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | July 23, 2015 10:41 PM |
I saw a post about them on tumblr like a month ago? anyway I googled them but there's was nothing on them together, they're not famous enough on their own to be a popular couple and they're not hot so I don't expect them to get much attention for this.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 23, 2015 10:54 PM |
These new british bands are awful. Cant believe kids listen to this Boring shit nowadays
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 23, 2015 10:58 PM |
R41, there's already been a few articles posted about them. Look online :)

Neil is super hot, go watch some vids of him playing the violin. But i have a huge crush on Olly. Olly's lyrics and voice is what makes Communion so good.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | July 24, 2015 12:53 AM |
Olly needs some vocal training. His live vocals are very inconsistent. It wouldn't surprise me that he's a blouse. King has been said to be about a sub top dominated by a bossy bottom ("king under your control" etc.)
by Anonymous | reply 48 | July 24, 2015 1:01 AM |
I think King is about Cocaine ;) Everybody i know who has seem them live has loved them.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | July 24, 2015 1:16 AM |
Check out the Glastonbury performances and T in the Park. And then there's King on Le Grand Journal.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | July 24, 2015 1:19 AM |
I love them both and think they are both very attractive. That being said, I only listen to Years and Years. I love their album and Olly's voice is distinctive and has a nice quality to it. That "Rather Be" song was fine, I just don't care for anything else Clean Bandit has done.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | July 24, 2015 1:34 AM |
R47, I agree. I love Olly's personality. At first I didn't like him that much, but he's grown on me a lot. I have to say though that he looks much better with the darker hair. Platinum blond does not suit him at all. His songwriting is so good though.
R48, I have heard that too, but I think it's very hit and miss with him. Sometimes he sounds amazing, other times not so much. Maybe it's nerves, or maybe he needs more training, like you said. I'll see them live in August, so I'll report back what I think :)
R49, I've heard King is about drugs, but I don't know.
R51, I'm so torn. I like both bands. However, I can see why people would find Clean Bandit a tad bit pretentious. I like Olly's personality and voice the best, but their songs are not as catchy as Clean Bandit's. Just my opinion.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | July 25, 2015 1:22 PM |
[R52] the song is about a relationship that wansnt good for him. He was enjoying it. But he needed for it to end.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | July 26, 2015 12:14 AM |
[quote]It was Olly's birthday recently and he was going to be in New York arriving at his hotel so I arranged for a really nice bunch of flowers to be waiting for him.
Aww :)
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 1, 2015 6:03 PM |
Yikes..
[quote]One really ugly guy took me to Pizza Express and all through dinner he just ripped me apart. He told me I was ugly, that I was full of myself, that he couldn’t understand why anyone would like me and that he was seeing other people as well. I sat there eating my pizza, put up with all the abuse and went home with him. It was so awful. It gets worse because during sex he played this weird song that Radio 4 plays when it turns 12am.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 2, 2015 5:28 PM |
R48, I think Olly's voice was really good. One review of the show said his voice was bad on "Desire", but I didn't think so at all, and neither did the guy I was with. However, I was a bit disappointed because the show didn't last more than 30 minutes (yes, the show was part of a bigger festival, but still). Also.. Olly seemed quite shy and/or tired. He just wasn't as energetic as I was expecting. His voice was good, the music was good, but the bass drowned out his voice. The sound technicians did a terrible job! But all in all, it was a nice show, Olly was lovely, although things could have been better. I don't regret going though!
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 16, 2015 1:06 PM |
Jesus, that quote about the Pizza Express experience is tragic. It sounds like Olly has struggled with self esteem. I've noticed that a lot of the lyrics on Communion talk about being dominated ("Under your control", "I need your control") to the point of being almost masochistic ("It's alright if you want to get used"). Being a professional actor from a young age, one might expect him to be more self-possessed, but that doesn't appear to have been the case.
I don't think the platinum hair doesn't work on him, but his recent cut is much better than the hair he was sporting circa Traps. Very unflattering. He has such a boyish impish charm and looks that it's hard to believe he's 25. He seems like a teenager.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 16, 2015 4:08 PM |
Cute dancing, but somehow I expected his live singing to be hmm more power-packed...
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 17, 2015 9:50 PM |
I can't quite decide if this is a better rendition, or not...
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 17, 2015 10:00 PM |
Best to stick with the studio versions, I think. I do like the piano/vocal version of Traps on YouTube. It's much more effective that the sterile studio version.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 17, 2015 10:05 PM |
Traps is also interesting to see how much his vocal style has changed. The R&B vocalising is quite affected, though I like it on the studio tracks. He doesn't execute it terribly well live. His diction particularly annoys me live.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 17, 2015 10:07 PM |
BBC added perhaps a tad too much reverb/echoey effect to the recording, non?
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 17, 2015 10:11 PM |
What is with the Clean Bandit fiddler's multitude of names? Amin-Smith seems to be his surname. Is Milan his middle name?
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 17, 2015 10:34 PM |
r65: Well, I think Milan is actually the first name, and Neil is the middle name...
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 17, 2015 10:47 PM |
He reverses them on his Twitter. Perhaps he found it easier to be "Neil" among fellow British children.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | August 17, 2015 10:51 PM |
He's jolie-laide. Cute but kinda fug to be honest.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 18, 2015 12:42 AM |
I am still loving Y&Ys.
Thank you, Datalounge!
by Anonymous | reply 69 | August 18, 2015 12:42 AM |
I wonder how often Neil fills his bum with cum. With his low self-esteem, I don't see him insisting on condoms.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | August 18, 2015 12:45 AM |
This sounds like N'SYNC to me. What am I missing?
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 18, 2015 2:26 AM |

Discernment. 'NSYNC were never that synth poppy/clubby.

Wtf they're not anything like NSync.

That will go down well with Neil's sponsors, Microsoft. Cue shitty 'You made me laugh, Cortana' said with a straight face advert.

R72
Love that.
I've been listening to both bands lately on Apple music. They play a LOT of up and coming gay acts.
Shamir is awesome. Gay and proud and can spit rhymes better than Busta.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | September 7, 2015 9:37 PM |
That was awkward how he dragged Olly up on stage. The kiss was sweet, though.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | September 7, 2015 9:50 PM |
Hoe was it awkward, R78?
by Anonymous | reply 79 | September 9, 2015 7:57 AM |
Sorry, I meant HOW. I hate typos.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | September 9, 2015 7:59 AM |
[quote] How was it awkward?
The physical act of dragging him up on stage was awkward. And when he got on stage they didn't know what to do for a second - dance with each other? - until Olly gestured to Neil to embrace, and then came the kiss.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | September 9, 2015 5:26 PM |
I really want Y&Y to break big.
I started a Y&Y channel on Apple music when the free version debuted, and I've found some GREAT music from the algorithm.
It always plays "Ties" when it starts- I guess that is the current single. "King" is still my favorite.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | September 10, 2015 1:53 AM |
"Eyes Shut" is rumoured to be the next single. I'd have picked "Gold", "Worship" or "Border".
by Anonymous | reply 83 | September 10, 2015 1:58 AM |
Has anyone come across video of the Jersey Live collaboration (i.e. Olly singing Stronger with Clean Bandit)?

Ha ha ha good!

I wonder how many of Neil's raw loads Olly took in his ass.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | March 18, 2016 12:26 AM |
R89, we know. The thread was bumped but it's actually a year old.

by Anonymous | reply 94 | March 18, 2016 12:53 PM |
God, those commenters are out of their gourds.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | March 18, 2016 1:27 PM |
Neil is a top, got tired of one needy twink's hole and moved on to the next one.
A story as old as time.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | March 19, 2016 12:27 AM |
I hate that he wears those Michael Jackson short back pants, white socks, black shoes combo. Soooo unsexy.
I'm surprised no full video of Olly singing Stronger with Clean Bandit at Jersey Live has ever shown up on YT. Perhaps TPTB yank it down or block it immediately.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | March 19, 2016 12:50 AM |
No doubt Olly has a huge fat cock. He has one of those lanky, thin, nerdy bodies that always comes with an elephant dick.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | March 19, 2016 2:17 AM |
That shot of him in all white (Rhinna Tshirt and shorts) doesn't suggest that.
