He sure pinged when I saw him in Spring Awakening. Andy Mientus was "straight" then in that tour too and is now married to Michael Arden. Arthur Laurents was crazy about the guy. He fired Matt Cavanaugh from West Side Story and replaced him with Shingledecker. People on here say it was because Cavanugh wouldn't put out for Arthur. Looking at the Playbill pride photos, Shingledecker looks pretty gay.
