Anorexia and suicide are both well accepted to be contagious, and transgenderism is obviously a third. As for life threatening, have you seen the tranny attempted suicide rates?

Better later than never. She is fighting for the same right that Kim Kardasian's biracial baby will need. She is fighting for the same rights that gay people have been fighting for. The right to marry a same gender person is huge, but really just another step in a long path ahead. Just like freeing the slaves, or getting rid of segregations has not ended the battle for applying human rights to all people of color (and I say people of color because this applies to more than just African Americans). So get off your damn high horses and realize that the larger, more diversified representation would ease the way to winning equal human rights to all humans. I absolutely respect that opinion, and I don't think the transgendered have a mental illness. (I do think there are a few people with emotional issues hijacking their movement because it's the fad of the day, and in a few years the real trans will wonder where all those trans allies on Tumblr have gone, however.)

But I don't really think they're inherently part of the gay movement. If someone is trans AND gay, sure, they share the same issues. But if they're trans and hetero then their issues aren't ours. LGB is about sexuality while trans is about gender. There's overlap but it's not the same thing.

Jenner might be working herself up to admitting she's lesbian but the only thing she ever did that could be considered pro-gay is appear in "Can't Stop the Music;" that is, she hasn't ever done anything for the community. Also, she has specifically said that she is NOT gay. She's also a known fame whore in the midst of a reality show. I don't think anyone in the LGB community who is wary of her intentions should be scolded. We've seen it all before and there are a lot of red flags here.
