It can't be football, cameras don't pan to parents after every good play. I honestly can't even remember the networks showing parents at all, except for when the playoffs start. Baseball doesn't have that many exciting moments either.

During the NBA playoffs MVP Steph Curry's Mom was shown a lot. It made sense she is a beautiful women also. It must be an NBA player a lot of the players in the league had fathers who also played in the NBA and they are constantly mentioned and shown in the stands with the rest of the family.

The only 2 things I have to add to this ancient thread is:

Aaron is and has been estranged from his parents for quite a while, so they would never be at his games. Steph Curry is 100% straight. He has a beautiful wife who he is crazy about(the spend nearly all their off the court time together making wacky videos for YT and you can tell that they have a really good relationship. They also have children, but I know that is not an indicator by itself. Yes, sometimes he comes across as cunty or bitchy. That is likely because he grew up with money and his talent is one of a kind, natural, "god" given. In other words, he has never had to work at anything or do without anything he has wanted.

I don't write off all blind items, but this one is a nothing burger. We would likely know by now if it were.
