Jonathan Lipnicki, the adorable little boy from Jerry Maguire who grew into a shredded beefcake of a dude in the last few years, is wishing his onscreen dad a happy Father’s Day in a hilarious new video.
Lipnicki has been trying to shed his “illegally adorable” former image for years now — he reminds us in the video that he can bench 250 and has a purple belt in Brazilian jujutsu.

R2 must live in an alternate universe. JERRY MAGUIRE was one of the top ten grossing film of 1996, and still popular with many people albeit the straight variety. Just because you've seen three VHS copies doesn't mean squat. I've seen DVDs of CASABLANCA at truck stops; it doesn't mean it's a despised film.

Lipnicki did turn out fairly cute with a rockin' body ........ with all of the material that gets churned out by the movie and TV business, I am kind of surprised he didn't turn up in even a regular supporting role in something.
I guess he's just not talented enough as an adult (and I'm not sure how tall he is) ...........but he sure was an adorable kid in that movie.

R13 or he might just not be interested in a film career. Other child actors like Mara Wilson (MRS. DOUBTFIRE, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET) and Brian Bonsall (FAMILY TIES, BLANK CHECK), who were quite busy as kids, quit the business upon becoming teenagers. Wilson has said she has no interest in being an actress again, and Bonsall refuses to attend STAR TREK conventions.
