I'll have you know that I know him very well, and that Qaboos (yes, that's his name) often showers me with gold and find interesting places to present me pearls. He may be gay, but it is not acceptable that he not marry. If he is from an aristocratic Muslim family, it is his duty to marry and have children. The wife is not told before the marriage that her husband is gay. It doesn't matter, because she is subservient to him whether he is gay or straight. Her job is to produce heirs and oversee the housekeeping .
