The heat from their giant nads keeps them warm.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 1, 2015 10:04 PM |
It is odd, isn't it? Don't they get ashy? :/
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 1, 2015 10:06 PM |
If you're hot, you gotta show off.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 1, 2015 10:10 PM |
Yes.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 1, 2015 10:11 PM |
I see black guys wearing basketball shorts and socks pulled up past their knees all year long
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 1, 2015 10:13 PM |
Like me, some people just love wearing shorts. Also, like many guys, my legs never get cold. So why the fuck not? I also have very musc legs so you're welcome, bitches.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 1, 2015 10:15 PM |
Hallelujah!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 1, 2015 10:15 PM |
Because da chillun of the sun don't work and can stay in when it's cold outside.
Racist.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 1, 2015 10:16 PM |
It's not just white guyss who do this; it's pretty common, especially on or near college campuses.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 1, 2015 10:20 PM |
Hot young guys wearing shorts and visible socks... it's orgasmic!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 1, 2015 10:21 PM |
Women wear skirts when it's cold out so why shouldn't men wear shorts?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 1, 2015 10:21 PM |
Yes, not just white men. I'm Latino
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 1, 2015 10:41 PM |
I knew a guy in college who would wear shorts in the dead of winter. He had beautiful legs--muscular and very hairy--and I could not blame him.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 1, 2015 10:43 PM |
OP = Fran Lebowitz
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 1, 2015 10:58 PM |
[quote]Hot young guys wearing shorts and visible socks
As opposed to INvisible socks?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 1, 2015 11:01 PM |
Boys do it too. It's bizarre. Some kind of macho bullshit.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 1, 2015 11:05 PM |
[quote]As opposed to INvisible socks?
As opposed to those little dainty no-show socks.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 1, 2015 11:14 PM |
Wassup with people not wearing coats even when it's bitter cold?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 2, 2015 1:27 AM |
I guess all of you have weak hearts and diabetes that you are always cold.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 2, 2015 1:30 AM |
San Diego doesn't get a lot of cold weather.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 2, 2015 1:37 AM |
Latino here. I live in Houston and yes I wear shorts in the winter if I'm not going into work.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 2, 2015 1:43 AM |
What's with people wearing sandals without socks when it's in the twenties or thirties? I could never do that.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 2, 2015 2:13 AM |
r22, sandals shouldn't be worn with socks.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 2, 2015 2:20 AM |
Can white men withstand the cold better?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 2, 2015 3:19 AM |
I'm mixed - half black, half white and wear shorts all the time lol.
But I live in Cali in a beach city.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 2, 2015 3:25 AM |
I live in Chicago and no bitches are wearing shorts when it's cold.
OP what do you consider "cold"? It was 47-F here today and everyone (including myself) was in shorts and tank tops.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 2, 2015 3:27 AM |
WTF r26? It was 83 today in Minneapolis. It couldn't be 47 in Chicago.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 2, 2015 3:31 AM |
R27 that was the temp when I left at noon this morning. Don't forget the wind from the lake chills the city, and I live on the lake.
"While an easterly component to the winds could give on-shore flow and temperatures in the 40s right along the Illinois Lake Michigan shoreline."-Chicago Weather City. Got up close to 60 couple miles inland, though.
But I just looked at the forecast and it's supposed to snow on Friday. FML
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 2, 2015 3:41 AM |
[quote]it's supposed to snow on Friday.
Why do you live in a place like that?
I was at the beach today. Friday temp is predicted to be 84.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 2, 2015 3:46 AM |
R23, normally I agree with you, but essentially barefoot when it's thirty degrees outside? I have never understood that. Just because there's a piece of leather between your foot and the ground doesn't mean it's not cold as hell. I see women do this too - barefoot in high heeled strappy sandals when it's cold, rainy, windy, you name it. If you don't own any closed toe shoes, yes I think it's time to break out the socks (or stockings or tights), tasteless or not.
Have these people no nerve endings in their feet? Did they freeze off?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 2, 2015 3:46 AM |
Have one who lives in my building in midtown Manhattan and he's always in shorts. Think he's a queen. He's thin but not that attractive and he wears a woven, multicolored slave bracelet around one ankle and always sneakers. He never looks at anyone, but that's the case with just about everybody in contemporary NYC.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 2, 2015 3:49 AM |
[quote] He never looks at anyone, but that's the case with just about everybody in contemporary NYC.
It IS a shitty place.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 2, 2015 3:54 AM |
R29 By the time summers coming to an end I can't wait for snow. I like the changing seasons :)
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 2, 2015 3:55 AM |
[quote]He never looks at anyone, but that's the case with just about everybody in contemporary NYC.
Except at the end of May. New Yorkers nearly fall over each other greeting sailors and Marines during Fleet Week. For 51 weeks of the year, they don't look at anyone. Then, for one week, NYC turns into the friendliest city on the planet.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 2, 2015 3:56 AM |
White guys also wear their pants much tighter than black guys, too.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 2, 2015 4:01 AM |
I wear shorts all year long, but I live in San Diego. It's stupid to wear long pants here.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 2, 2015 4:06 AM |
Thankfully, r35.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 2, 2015 4:07 AM |
[quote] White men who wear shorts when it's cold outside
Wow! Someone on DL has used the word 'who' as opposed to 'that'!
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 2, 2015 7:50 AM |
thx grammar troll!!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 2, 2015 9:35 AM |
OP, mind your own business...
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 2, 2015 9:38 AM |
Equally impotent question is why do Black men seem to always wear hoodies in summer? See it all the time and can only imagine how stinky they must be.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 2, 2015 9:42 AM |
There is a strong anti coat movement, especially among yours dudes. It is perceived as manly.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 2, 2015 11:11 AM |
but it ok for blcak men to walk around with their pants down around their knees, showing their ugly boxer shorts or worse, dirty jockeys
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 2, 2015 12:08 PM |
R43 because all black men do it. Get a life racist queen.
R41 your question was indeed "impotent" and stupid. You realize that been who wear hoodies in the summer don't really sweat right?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | April 2, 2015 12:17 PM |
It's usually because they are fat fucks, no?
by Anonymous | reply 45 | April 2, 2015 12:21 PM |
And the OP is not being racist? lol
by Anonymous | reply 46 | April 2, 2015 12:27 PM |
R46 OP didn't express disgust like R41 and R43 though
by Anonymous | reply 47 | April 2, 2015 12:32 PM |
Another fan of their hot furry legs. They know their legs are hot, and I appreciate that they show them off to me.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | April 2, 2015 12:37 PM |
I didn't really take those comments as disgust per say, but rather just to challenge the OP, or give him a taste of his own medicine.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | April 2, 2015 1:50 PM |
There's a stench emanating from r44 that has soiled this thread irreparably. OF COURSE that vermin of a poster would use the word "queen" as well. It all fits together.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | April 2, 2015 2:03 PM |
Fuck OP, he's a race troll. Let's talk about hot furry legs.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | April 2, 2015 2:09 PM |
This was enough to send a thousand Wellesley students into a tailspin.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | April 2, 2015 2:13 PM |
I wear athletic shorts and t-shirts at home year round. If I'm just running some errands, I'll throw a sweater on and I'm fine. I'm just walking from my car into the store - I'm not trekking across Antarctica. I don't need 10 layers of clothing to walk around a store that's already heated.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | April 2, 2015 2:17 PM |
It's not "white" men it's ALL MORONS who do this in Winter and Spring when it's cold, getting sick and infecting others with their vile pneumonia germs that they spread to their offspring who go to school and spread it around there
Then they all wind up in the ER taking up their time requiring a spanish translator.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | April 2, 2015 2:18 PM |
r54, don't use terms like "pneumonia" if you don't know what it is. Just FYI, it doesn't come from cold legs. Neither does the common cold.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | April 2, 2015 2:24 PM |
When did black men stop wearing the shower caps in public?
by Anonymous | reply 56 | April 2, 2015 2:30 PM |
Probably an evolutionary adaptation. "White" men, aka Anglo/Northern European stock, are adept at wearing little clothing in cold-weather climates.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | April 2, 2015 2:36 PM |
My nephews were fine with wearing pants in winter until they got to be adolescents. Then they suddenly became menopausal and couldn't endure indoor heat anymore. OMG, we are sweltering in school! OMG, we cannot wear a winter jacket it's SO HOT! We need to wear shorts and hoodies. After all, it's not like we walk anywhere or exercise. We're just going to sit in front of a screen all day long. We don't go outside and play. We'd look like South Park kids if we dress like that!
My mother said, "That's funny. I get hot flashes all the time but I don't walk around in shorts and a light sweatshirt all winter. My kids wore pants to school and weren't sweltering. Why are you so delicate?"
Whenever one of my sisters has to drive her son anywhere in winter. she bundles up and turns the heat off in her car. "I just get so hot with the sun beating down on me in the car that I actually have to turn the AC on," she says and turns the AC on full blast when it's 20 degrees outside. There's her son in his shorts, short sleeved tee shirt and little hoodie, freezing his ass off until he gets dropped off.
People are much fatter now than they used to be, so there's that. Fatties don't like to wear heavy clothes.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | April 2, 2015 2:37 PM |
R50 The only stench is the unwashed stench of your prolapsed ass. Don't you have anal hairs to bleach for your anon gang bang tonight?
by Anonymous | reply 59 | April 2, 2015 2:39 PM |
Let's see, we have a control freak idiot who obsesses about what other people are wearing at r58 and a racially obsessed PC loon at r59. Perhaps they should get together and have a fatal argument over something. Yes, I can dream
by Anonymous | reply 60 | April 2, 2015 2:43 PM |

What's up with people not wearing hats, even when it's subzero outside???
by Anonymous | reply 63 | April 2, 2015 4:43 PM |
[quote]Let's face it; it's ONLY white men
Perhaps in Podunk, OP, but where I live I see men of all races doing this.
Who comes to a gay website to complain about men in shorts? Are you Fran Lebowitz?
by Anonymous | reply 64 | April 2, 2015 4:48 PM |
r19 will have a very sad old age.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | April 2, 2015 5:00 PM |
R44 must be a big ole black thug, with a doo rag under his hoodie and his pants pulled down under his ass.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | April 2, 2015 5:04 PM |
There are few things that look more stupid than the trashy looking white men you see at airports in northern cities wearing shorts in the dead of winter. I don't care if you're flying to fucking Aruba, it looks ridiculous. And no, I'm not talking about hotties you'd actually like seeing, just trashy people. No thanks, put it away.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | April 2, 2015 5:52 PM |
[quote]Fatties don't like to wear heavy clothes.
^^That, right there, ladies.
I don't see anyone wearing shorts in the winter but FAT white men. Not black guys, not Latinos. Just the FAT, WHITE men do it around here. And they constantly complain about how fucking hot it is.
It could be 20F outside and these fuckers are wearing shorts and sweating. The thought never crosses their minds that they might be sweating so much because they're fat.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | April 2, 2015 6:11 PM |
OP, I hope they were wearing flip flops!
by Anonymous | reply 69 | April 3, 2015 1:51 AM |
The blog "Stuff White People Like" explained that white people have numerous zones of body heat -- that is why you see them in heavy wool sweaters while wearing shorts on gray coastal mornings, or in shorts with down vests up in dark snowy Colorado towns...
by Anonymous | reply 70 | April 3, 2015 2:47 AM |
Ah, a "style" thing, white folk so Trendy!
by Anonymous | reply 71 | April 3, 2015 8:38 PM |
R70, I'm one of those people. I can go out on a cool, if not cold, day wearing shorts and a sweater. If it's too cool, I'm more inclined to add a scarf than change into long pants.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | April 3, 2015 8:41 PM |
Texans seem to do this most regularly. Especially guys from a&M
by Anonymous | reply 73 | April 3, 2015 8:44 PM |
Whites just don't get as cold as the coloreds. It goes under 80 and the coloreds are cold. Every colored cube frau has a heater at her feet.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | April 3, 2015 8:54 PM |
Every female I know does
by Anonymous | reply 75 | April 3, 2015 8:58 PM |
When I see a man wearing shorts in freezing weather, I assume he hasn't done his laundry in weeks.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | April 3, 2015 9:01 PM |
Generally, white people tolerate cold better than others. Before you stay with a white person in winter, make sure you know what they keep their heat on. My friend in North Carolina kept his heat on 64 during a raging snowstorm. Never again.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | April 18, 2015 11:22 PM |
It is the norm now
by Anonymous | reply 78 | January 31, 2016 4:35 PM |
Every morning when I stopped at the local convenience store there was a man with absolute chicken legs in shorts waiting in line. I asked the clerk who he was because the temperature outside was around twenty degrees. She said he was a gym teacher and had to wear shorts everyday. He's was also very arrogant and pushy, and I thought, "No, he wears them because he wants to be noticed."
by Anonymous | reply 79 | January 31, 2016 4:44 PM |
This thread is useless without pictures.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | January 31, 2016 4:57 PM |
Silly trend but they probably don't get any colder than women wearing skirts
by Anonymous | reply 81 | January 31, 2016 5:06 PM |
No matter what the weather, I used to wear shorts if I had to run across the street to get something quickly at the drugstore, the video store, or the takeout restaurant. They're what I wear in the house year-round. I'd throw on a coat and a scarf and I'd be good to go. I need a scarf more than something covering my legs.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | January 31, 2016 5:07 PM |
Black and Latin dudes are doing it too. It’s a macho thing
by Anonymous | reply 83 | March 31, 2018 2:20 PM |
Latin guys do it too
by Anonymous | reply 84 | December 22, 2018 2:23 PM |
Wearing jean cut-offs in snow is a viking tradition. I'm horrified. I thought DL would be more culturally sophisticated and sensitive than this. To be unaware of this historically significant tradition for white people, wounds.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | December 22, 2018 2:29 PM |
I saw a man in flipflops and shorts a couple of weekends ago...it was cold and rainy but I understood. He thought if he ignored winter, it might go away.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | December 22, 2018 2:32 PM |
I'm visiting relatives in Arizona. Early mornings and evenings are cold and I see this shit all the time. Even saw a couple of ladies with shorts on.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | December 22, 2018 2:37 PM |
disgusting
by Anonymous | reply 88 | December 22, 2018 2:41 PM |
It’s considered a macho or manly thing. Wearing bulky coats and winter wear is considered feminine
by Anonymous | reply 89 | December 22, 2018 2:57 PM |
At least two of my friends are going to be surprised to learn they’re white!
by Anonymous | reply 90 | December 22, 2018 2:59 PM |
Teenagers seem to love wearing shorts in cold weather, and drive their mothers crazy for doing so.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | December 22, 2018 4:06 PM |
