OP, your argument is full of holes. As would be the photos you're advocating.

If you click on "Settings" below the Datalounge logo, you can choose to view pictures in-line.

Tried that, R5, and it didn't work on my phone.

I remember the days when you could have a profile with pics here at the lounge. Not sure why they did away with it. Posters weren't as flaming or as numerous as now.

Every other reply would include a picture of someone's hole, or a gif of it winking.

R19, you need to host it somewhere. I use Imgur because i used it for years on Reddit. You can just upload the image to Imgur, then copy the Imgur link into that ur DL post.

r14 and the “lemon party” pics posted to (i believe?) the brent corrigan thread are precisely why i set my option NOT to view pictures inline.

Pictures are a waste of bandwidth. Links are better especially with the end of net neutrality, soon we'll go back to the dial up days with you paying as you go for how much you use.

No. I remember as a cild that the whole family dreaded the occasional neighbor or relative’s home movie or slide show. We are now surrounded by it 24/7. I do’t want to have to sift through personal travelogues and cat pictures here.
