Good. She's untalented.

I've arrived, whores! I just got an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. And of course, my stunning VF cover. My career has launched into the Hollywood stratosphere.
Jealous, bitches??!!!!!

She is great. Still very underrated despite her Oscar nomination. I want to see more of her in the future and i'm sure i will.

Is that the Bond girl?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 14, 2015 2:06 PM |
She was excellent in a film called Barney's Version, with Paul Giamatti. I saw it on PBS, I think.

She was awful in Gone Girl. Can't believe she even got an Oscar nom. Totally undeserved.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 14, 2015 3:34 PM |
She's been working since the nineties, a solid B-list career in both Brit and US films. But now she's hired a publicist and is going to rhe openings of envelopes and is trying to jump up to the A-list...
She seems on track to make her long career look like a flash in the pan.

R6, you are awful! How can you say such a thing?

Trying to make a British girl happen is difficult beyond basic fame: Carey Mulligan, Rosamund Pike, Annabelle Wallis are all good but I am not seeing major fame. I run the boards.

Rosamund Pike was lovely in Pride and Prejudice. I can't say the same for Keira Knightely though...

She looks like a store mannequin. Though store mannequins have a great range of facial expressions.

R12,obviously the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences doesn't agree with you.

She was a bit plump in The Education. I thought the extra pounds suited her; she looked sexy, especially compared to the plain and boyish looking Mulligan.

*An Education

R10, What do you mean by "run the boards?"
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 14, 2015 7:07 PM |
It was so silly that in An Education, we are supposed to be more charmed by Carey Mulligan's character and looks than by Rosamund Pike's. Yes, ok Rosemund played the bimbo, but still in the end her character was more likeable than Mulligan's and of course, she was and still is more beautiful than Mulligan.

Her personal life is very juicy...
Rosamund’s first love was actor Simon Woods, who, like Robie, was at Eton. He and Rosamund met and fell in love at Oxford, where both were studying English Literature. He was much envied by fellow undergraduates for having captured one of the most stunning girls at Oxford, and for two years she and handsome, charming Woods were inseparable.
But Simon had a secret. Unknown to Rosamund, he was beginning to doubt his sexuality. Eventually, he had to tell her. When Simon fell in love again, it was with a man. Two years ago — nine years after his break-up with Rosamund — he and his long-time partner, Burberry’s creative director Christopher Bailey, tied the knot in a civil ceremony at Chelsea register office. ‘Bond girl’s ex weds his man,’ said one headline.
After that, she dated Joe Wright for four years. The wedding between her and her film director fiance (Joe Wright) had been suddenly called off.
It appears that Wright put an end to the September nuptials after 29-year-old former Bond girl Ros sent out hundreds of wedding invitations without his approval.
'The invitations featured a picture of them together in a hot tub,' says a pal. Joe dumped her for sending them without consulting him and she had to tell all the guests the wedding was off.'
To add insult to injury, Wright was then spotted cavorting with a handful of girls at his local lap-dancing club in Shoreditch just days later.
Her current boyfriend, Robie Uniacke is a former drug addict who has been married twice before and has four children. She has been with him for six years and they are still together.

Wait! I meant he is about 18 years older than her.

R14 - a few extra pounds suit her

Who?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 20, 2021 8:37 PM |
Fuck you OP. I love her. She has carved out a little niche for herself. She is ALWAYS very good to excellent. I like her a lot.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 20, 2021 8:38 PM |
Her latest film 'I care a lot' is getting great buzz. She always remind me of Jenna Elfman.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 20, 2021 8:44 PM |
She didn't have the career I'd hoped for her since Gone Girl.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 20, 2021 8:45 PM |
Why the hell was this six year old thread about this boring actress bumped?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 20, 2021 8:51 PM |
Because you bite EVERY. TIME. R28. If you're going to continually be so insistent you should be able to control what people can and can't do on this board, don't be surprised if people push back.

She's really great in her new movie. The movie itself is fun, too.
