Fuq me this movie is stupid. The neighbors are Nazi's, the daughter is an asshole and I had to Lee Curtis in a 2-piece bikini. I remember merking off to the hot latino boufriend when I was younger but now he's just meh. Why is is shit considered a classic?
Im watching Christmas with the Kranks

Oh OP.

Is merking off something you do with a merkin?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 25, 2014 8:20 PM |
Huh? Nobody considers it a classic.

Only in your limited world could it be considered a classic.

I hate Tim Allen.

Nobody I know likes this film, never mind considers it a "classic."

OP, you type drunk.

I watched "Christmas with the Kranks" for the first time last night and thought is was a fun holiday themed movie! No Oscar award winner, but just a fun little comedy. I uplifted my mood. Saw it on NetFlix.

Not a classic but it's on all the time from early Nov-Jan. I went to London 3 years ago, got food poisining, spent 3 days in bed and it was on TV all 3 nights.i get nauseous just hearing the title now.
I remember it wasn't funny, Tim Allen isn't funny, JLC has become a middle aged frau so those genes were wasted, Tom Poston, who I've always liked, has a cameo and I would love to rent one of those big suburban houses for December because they are the perfect base for lights.

I hated it the first time I saw it. But it ended up growing on me. I've since added it to my holiday movie rotation.

No. Not a classic.
Bad Christmas themed movie.
Trading Places is a better Christmas themed film with Jamie Lee Curtis.

I thought it was great and Dan Ackroyd deserved an Oscar nomination for his role.

I agree with R12. And I'll add that Cheech and Little Busey were the greatest comedic duo evah. And Dewey took his character to a level that no child actor has before or since.

Omg I do type drunk. Sorry.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 26, 2014 1:58 AM |
It's not considered a "classic." In fact, it's been widely panned, and for good reason: it stinks! But it's about Christmas and even bad movies about Christmas get shown on cable tv a lot.

I much prefer "Honky Grandma Be Trippin’" and "The Chunks 2: A Very Chunky Christmas."

Why the hell is "Bad Santa" all but forgotten? It's hilarious. Billy Bob Thornton, Bernie Mac, and John Ritter are hilarious in it. Cloris Leachman too.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 26, 2014 2:26 AM |
Bad Santa isnt forgotten as much as its criminally over-rated sweetie.

I would rather have my teeth pulled without novocaine than watch Tim Allen in anything.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 26, 2014 4:14 AM |
I read the boo, it was also bad.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 26, 2014 5:06 AM |
I don't get the hate for this movie. They end up having an idyllic Christmas Eve.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 9, 2019 2:18 AM |
If the Kranks were boycotting Christmas, why did they have a wreath on their door?

I do love the scene of Curtis in the supermarket with the other woman fighting for the ham.
You just know that other woman is a DLer.

WHET to the Peruvian boyfriend?

R23, I thought she said Happy Holidays?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 25, 2020 1:45 PM |
The “boo”.

Trying this again...
The “boo”?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 25, 2020 1:52 PM |
I love Jamie Lee Curtis, but...
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 25, 2020 2:02 PM |
Anyone who can get through more than 10 minutes of this movie is essentially lowest level trash. And they probably use holiday-themed paper plates at their family Christmas dinner
