Looking at his twitter he definitely seems gay but he refuses to talk about it and there has been little gossip to be found about him so far.

Still Connor is already my favorite network TV gay character so kudos to him.

In the After time-line, Connor appears on the doorstep of his former (almost) boyfriend as a broken man, crying, frightened, reaching out to someone who might have actually cared about him. The Before time-line features a smart, and smart-ass Conner who thinks he's invincible. Wait until he finds out he isn't.

I've heard from read from three different places that he's straight (according to two people who went to high school with him, including a gay guy, and someone who is friends with his cousin), but it's not like they would know all the details of his personal life based on peripheral knowledge of him. I would highly doubt that anyone--after going to NYU drama school and making it in Hollywood--is completely straight.

Anyhow, I think he is aware that HTGAWM is his bread-and-butter right now, so he is playing it up as much as he can. We'll see whether he "comes out" as straight and/or materializes with a girlfriend once he scores a larger role as a heterosexual character.

I'm surprised there isn't more gossip about him, though. I would think that him going to NYU would mean that more people would have information on him, but it seems not.

I read the gossip about someone who said they knew him in highschool, but as was said in R1, almost all gay guys were closeted in highschool. That doesn't really mean much.

I get why he would want to remain quiet if he was gay, he would be worried about being pigeon-holed into gay roles.

The simple truth from what I can tell is the isn't enough evidence. There are certainly enough reasons to think he is gay, but there is no real damning evidence and you could still assume he is straight.
