Why are there no gay adult film actors without tattoos?

People with poor body image do porn, people with low self esteem get tattoos.

LOTS and LOTS of people have tattoos. also, if you have a body that seems like a good canvas, you might be inspired to put some art on it.

I have no tattoos, but I see the guys at my gym and nearly ALL of the muscle guys have tattoo featured somewhere.

[2] You actually hit upon something that I have never been able to get a straight answer from anyone in regards to bodybuilders and tattoos. Why would they cover their muscle definition with tattoos in the first place? What the hell is wrong with these guys who get tattoos that cover muscle definition when they have spent time, money and years of training to showcase their muscles? I for one can't see muscle definition on guys that work out that have their bodies covered with tattoos. What response do these porn stars or bodybuilders have when someone tells them they ruined their bodies and now their muscle definition is unnoticeable I wonder?

"Inkless" will be the next niche porn market. And this is one niche market I would welcome.

I hate tattoos. They're awful. And they ruin a guy's body. If tattoos could be used as a temporary decoration and then washed off, I'd feel better about a guy ruining his body with ink. One is too many, but one tattoo often leads to another and another. Tattoos are just a unattractive and a total turn-off.

I don't believe there is any market research devoted to porn. Those who produce and direct the movies probably think that guys with tattoos are hot. Not realizing there is a large market of guys, like me, who prefer to watch guys without tattoos, or piercings. Though I see the point about guys who do porn are probably the same who enjoy displaying their body art and perhaps BDSM as well.

I think it is partly a class thing (which people generally don't like to talk about). I work at an Ivy League college and the students have come back in droves in the last week or so. Can't help noticing (maybe I've been made more alert to this by the incessant DL threads on the subject) that there's not a tattoo in sight. Probably some of them have them where I can't see, but it's telling that among this crowd of 18-21 year olds there are no sleeve tattoos, neck tattoos, face tattoos, or any tattoos that show up in a t-shirt or tank top and shorts.

I was going to say Lance Hart, who I think is very handsome, but I just saw a video where he had tattoos on his neck and torso, the kind that look like they were done at home with a fish tank pump and an ink pen. He does a lot of plot-y kinds of porn, so I'm hoping they were temporary for the scene.
