No, I think they hit their high point of hateability early in their very first season with Gabe. I guess I find it easier to sympathize with someone addicted to chemicals, or even to shopping, than someone like Gabe who is a vicious and sociopathic user just because. Plus his whiny and grating voice, and his completely ridiculous grandiosity -- he's probably the only case where I kind of rooted for him to get worse, not better.
