Virgin Duggar daughters reveal they avoid men and 'censor' their thoughts to stop them from sinning sexually

I would avoid men too if I were a girl and my primary model for one was someone who was going to knock you up a score of times.

Apparently they have a code word to alert their brothers to unmodestly dressed women: "nike".

I can see you inside
I can see how you lied
That's how Lucifer fell
And your headed for hell
I won't let you go
Satan loves a sinner
Pray for your salvation from damnation
Pray or he will burn you!

When will one of the Duggar's reveal the abuse they suffered?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 8, 2014 12:10 AM |
Jana's getting long in the tooth. Aren't Dominion girls usually married by 20 or 21?
I recall a girl the Dominion Wackiness Troll posted about who, at 21, was so absolutely desperate to get married that she wound up becoming the bride of a convicted child molester (she was in training to be a kindergarten teacher!). This was up in Idaho, I believe, with one of the Dougs (Phillips?, can't remember the other one's last name). Anyway, they were introduced by a church elder and everyone thought it was such a great idea and they made such a fantastic couple. It was truly stomach-turning.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 8, 2014 12:18 AM |
I miss DWT so much-- he always found the craziest stories and blog posts. Too bad you can't remember who the girl was, R7-- I'd love to know how that marriage is going!

These kids are so fucked up.
Those parents should be imprisoned for child abuse.
Ugh.

I do, too, R8. I found the thread about the courtship/wedding. It's a doozy, worse than I recall. The guy molested 13 kids in three states! Doug Wilson apparently knew about it before the cops did. Ugh.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | March 8, 2014 12:36 AM |
Holy shit R12! Thanks for the link-- that's going to be some good reading. And 13 kids across 3 states? That's jaw dropping-- how is that guy not locked up for life?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 8, 2014 12:50 AM |
Jinger? Really?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 8, 2014 12:51 AM |
I saw something on oprah once we're they detailed all the chores the kids had to do. One of those girls was in charge of all the washing. She was 12. The laundry room had a bunch of washing machines and a bunch of dryers. I remember she was bitter and angry about it. She pretended not to be but the girl was pretty much running a laundromat on her own and she could barely hide her misery. I felt sorry for her. I thought she'd grow up to rebel but so far none of them have. I guess keeping her poorly educated and stuck in a laundry room meant she had nothing to compare it to so she believed it was normal to be treated that way.

by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 8, 2014 1:11 AM |
Eew. This was posted about a year after the marriage and when DWT posted about it. More details about Wilson and the pedophile. Very fishy stuff. If Sitler molests any more children, Doug Wilson will be complicit in those crimes.
Let’s see. Sitler has at least of decade of confessed rape and molestation of at least a dozen children ages 2 – 12, going back to his puberty. He successfully hid this for years while functioning undetected and in good standing among Christians and within Christian churches. This implies he is manipulative and adept at deception, capable of talking a good game while keeping dark secrets. He is brazen enough to molest a two-year old while supposedly providing child care with her parents and other Christians in the next room. When caught and booted from that church, he went to another prestigious Christian organization where he molested the children of his host family. (Rumor is they were paid well by Sitler’s wealthy family to keep quiet.) He ended up at New St. Andrew’s College, where he boarded with a family. Doug Wilson, self-proclaimed patriarch/pastor/defender of the faith knew this and hid it from his congregation, putting them at risk. (And Sitler was not the only one; there is another. But Sitler is by far the worse of the two.) When Sitler was caught abusing again, Wilson did do the right thing in telling the victim’s parents to report it to the police and supplying an attorney. Sitler was somehow able to leave town and was represented in his legal proceedings by another (better) attorney connected with Wilson. Wilson counseled with Sitler in a pastoral role during this time (5 times in 4 mos.) and intervened on his behalf, asking for mercy for Sitler, saying Sitler had confessed and repented and wanted to change, and Wilson believed him. Sitler pled down to one offense on the condition that he name other victims. Life sentence turned into a short jail term and lifetime probation including never being alone with children the rest of his life except under direct adult supervision. Only after that deal was made, it was discovered that Sitler hadn’t confessed everything — just mostly what was already known by someone. Someone found an online photo album with hundreds of children, including his known victims. for that matter, within a month of his release, he violated the terms of his probation by engaging in voyeurism; he was not remanded back to custody for some reason. And THAT is the man that Wilson marries to a naive, impressionable girl who, at the ripe old age of 22,is pining away because she is not married and having babies like most of her friends are.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 8, 2014 1:14 AM |
Another poster from the same site:
I also came across a March document specifying Sitler’s court-appointed chaperones (there are three – Dave and Roxanne Sitler and Katie Sitler) and a statement that he scored as High Risk to Re-Offend.

R20, that is SEARING. I cannot believe how fucked up these people are.

by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 8, 2014 1:58 AM |
Patriarchal fundamentalist/Dominionist parents and elders who care very little for the well-being of their daughters, perhaps, R23? They keep the girls as naive, uneducated and sheltered as possible until they become some guy's property. You're not that concrete, are you?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 8, 2014 1:59 AM |
We got a little off topic, R23. Maybe you could offer some scintillating insight to get back on track.

I remember the eldest Duggar son was actually kind of hot, and kind of talented. Anyone know what he's up to?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 8, 2014 2:16 AM |
Well unsurprisingly r27 he married young. The last thing I heard about him his wife was pregnant and the kid was going to be roughly the same age as one of his younger siblings.
He probably has a whole house full if them now.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 8, 2014 2:48 AM |
The only reason a dominionist girl would be willing to face the horrible life of a dominionist wife would be if she were eager to treat a brood of daughters the way her mother treated her.
The only way one of these girls will ever have power over anyone is if she gives birth to them.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 8, 2014 3:17 AM |
R26 I really wasn't being snarky, I was honestly unsure of what the connection was because I wasn't familiar with the people named in that post. I understood there was a tangential relationship perhaps, but I wasn't sure if it was a direct connection or if it was thematic.
That is why I asked. Not sure why my honest question had to be met with rudeness, but whatevs. If someone could perhaps explain a bit more about who that Spitler guy is, etc that would be appreciated.
Re: these women, well, while I think the Quiverful philosophy is terrible, these girls do have a few advantages that many others in those churches have not. Despite the Duggar's insistence that they keep the kids away from much of modern society, they, because of their fame, have likely had more opportunities to observe more normal life and options than many young women who are part of this type of religious society like Quiverfull or the fundie Mormon sects.
The hypocrisy of the Duggars who say they don't allow their children to watch tv etc, and yet they have made millions as a result of TV and the corollary opportunities that has brought them is another aspect of why they are so disgusting to me.
Every time I see Jim Bob's face I feel nauseated. He has major creep factor going on there.
The book by their daughters is just more insidious attempts to lure in young followers by appealing to what they think are common teen aged girl issues such as body image issues and fun with hair and makeup.
It is sick and twisted.

The eldest son is Joshua James aka "Josh", born March 3, 1988 (age 26) Married with three children
And he is NOT cute any more. Totally porked out and got uglied up. Balding. At only 26.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | March 8, 2014 3:42 AM |
Josh is also completely evil:
[bold]'19 Kids and Counting' star Josh Duggar accepts lobbying job with conservative group Family Research Council[/bold]
Josh Duggar, the eldest of the reality TV brood of 19 children, has accepted a job as the executive director at Family Research Council Action, the lobbying arm of the conservative advocacy group.
"I will be engaging the grassroots and taking the message of faith, family and freedom all across America," the Arkansas native said.
Josh's new job comes just two weeks after he and his wife, Anna, welcomed their third child.
The 25-year-old has been working as a political consultant since 2006.
He joined his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, whose ever-growing family stars in the TLC show "19 Kids and Counting," in campaigning for former Sen. Rick Santorum in the 2012 Republican presidential primary.

I thought you were being a priss pot hall monitor who was pissed that R25 and I went off topic. I didn't realize it was an honest question, R30. Please accept my apologies for being cranky.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 8, 2014 3:48 AM |
R26 - Thanks. And I apologize, as well. It's just so hard to see young women railroaded upon such horrible belief systems where their males are not only sacrosant, but also abusive.
But they can also abuse all sorts of boundaries without folks who can help.
Despite the Duggar's insistence that they keep the kids away from much of modern society, they, because of their fame, have likely had more opportunities to observe more normal life and options than many young women who are part of this type of religious society like Quiverfull or the fundie Mormon sects.
Really? Please explain how the Duggar girls are any more liberated from the excesses of their parents "museum approach" to having children?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 8, 2014 6:33 AM |
R30 I agree with r34. How are they more liberated than other girls in their community? We are watching them, they are not watching us. They were home schooled by a woman who no doubt was also poorly educated. They have, by their own admission, a father with anger issues and a mother who believes in submission. They were raised doing household chores all day, every day. What street smarts or life lessons would they have acquired? Television and reading material were limited. Their outings involved going to church. All they know about life has been taught to them by their own brainwashed parents. They never stood much of a chance.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 8, 2014 6:57 AM |
If I were wealthy, I'd take the girls away, house them while they received enough additional education to go on to college and get the heck beyond this situation. Sorry, mom, but you can either leave the dickhead or start doing your own laundry.
Josh Duggar, the eldest of the reality TV brood of 19 children, has accepted a job as the executive director at Family Research Council Action, the lobbying arm of the conservative advocacy group.
Well, he only has three kids so far. Let's see if he registers his family as a church to avoid taxes like Daddy did.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | March 8, 2014 4:37 PM |
R34,
I definitely don't think the Duggar girls are living an easy life, but I think they perhaps have some advantages over other girls in the same type of religious sects.
For one thing, they have a cousin who they get to see, who seems to live outside of whatever weird religion the Duggars have. And they have had opportunity to travel and see more of the country and perhaps have had glimpses of what life could hold.
But, at the same time, they have had their minds poisoned with toxic ideology from birth forward. Still, I have hope that at least one of them, might leave. It might be years down the road, but I do hope it happens.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 8, 2014 5:30 PM |
Those poor girls. They have a choice between being treated like slaves by their parents, or being treated like slaves by their husbands. If some choose the parents, it's because they're undoubtedly terrified of having to birth out a baby or two every year, and of being expected to die in childbirth rather than use birth control.
And if they've seen a little more of the outside world than most of their cohort, they haven't seen enough to understand it or join it. They're just totally fucked, and it's all legal because our stupid government panders to religious psychoes.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 8, 2014 10:44 PM |
How much of the world they've "seen" is debatable, isn't it? Yes, they travel to New York every once in a while to appear on the Today Show and they've done book tours to places where the demographics suggest an interested audience. They're shepherded about and see sanitized versions of the real world their father/religion permit.
I've never seen an episode of their show, but I would definitely watch a "Wife Swap" type of show where those girls are transplanted into mainstream families for a while (more than a week) and are expected to go to school, interact with peers, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | March 8, 2014 10:52 PM |
The whole family went out on the campaign trail to campaign for Santorum when he was running for president. I wonder if he had to pay for these morons to appear with him.
It would be interesting to know if Ma Dugger met up with Mrs. Santorum who used to live with an abortion doctor.

by Anonymous | reply 90 | August 22, 2018 10:50 PM |
I've heard that sometimes the oldest daughter is expected to forgo her own courtship and marriage until she has raised all of her siblings. Then, once all the youngest kids have left the nest, the oldest daughter can begin her new role...as her parents' caretaker. By this age, her most fertile years will be past her anyway, which would be a deal breaker to many men who see crotchfruit as rewards from God.
Or maybe she's just smart and is turning down courtship opportunities because she doesn't want to become a babymaking machine. I think she's the prettiest and nicest of all the girls.
