I don't think child actors are any more likely to be gay than actors who started their careers as adults. And not all kid actors have pushy stage moms - some have pushy STAGE dads.

R121 my all-time favorite episode of MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE is the 4th episode of the last season, where Jessica tricks Malcolm & Reese into thinking the other brother is in the closet. The funny part is that against all expectation both boys (normally a bullying delinquent & a superior misanthrope who both make frequent "fag" comments) are totally supportive and try to understand it as well as help the other 'come out'. Once the joke is revealed and they discover the truth, the start of their revenge plot involves Reese giving Malcolm a hickey.

Berfield & Muniz had some of the best chemistry on that show, only slightly behind Muniz & Krasinsky.

That is a funny one, r125 (although it wasn't from the final season.) I remember back at the time insisting Berfield had to be gay and all my friends said no way, it was Muniz who pinged. I don't think Berfield ever officially came out but Muniz is evidently straight.
