No, I'm faithful to Datalounge.

I did post on another message board before I gave up completely and decided to return to DL for good.

I used to post on some Fametracker offshoots after that board died, but even now those are slow and boring. And I have to be "nice" over there.

Ditto R4, I, too, had to act nice there. Naw. Posting on DL is far more relaxing.

Other than DL, I only post on imdb, but that's pretty rare.

Single message boards are going out. It's useless with Disqus. You just comment on a whole lot of different sites about different issues. You get notified when someone responds to you and you have the childish enjoyment when you get lots of likes.

I like the DL. I was at Q for some time but no more. I just left Zata because MPC and Roger took over. They are part of the reason the board is slowly dieing out. Plus they seem to have a preoccupation with Gloria Estafan. It's weird.

I like to read D Listed even though Michael K often uses the same jokes and Allison tries too hard. But I rarely post there because it is cliquish, I have posted something and then a regular posts the same thing after me and gets all the responses.

R31 Streetking comments are awesome. I don't know about now, since the original owner sold the site but there used to be commenters who knew their stuff. Conspiracy talk isn't always going to go down well with most people. And especially if there are theories and gossip criticising white supremacy in pop culture/society- Obviously that would make non blacks nervous. Lol. think it's delicious. The original site owner (Jacky Jasper) made it his mission to dismantle many hip hop stars fake, macho, het bravado, by outing their down low tendencies. Streetking began to get quite a following because of that.

I'm with you, R11. DListed was so much better before it changed host servers to accommodate all the traffic. It's a Frau board now; through and through.

R45 acky's still there and still the owner along with his partner. However he doesn't edit and rarely even comments these days. The rumor is that he has acquired a rather nasty habit which is demanding all of his time and resources. The comments are fantastic. I've been a regular for three years, and while it can be a bit cliquish at times, for the most part it's a real fun group and we honestly enjoy each others' out there humor. For some good chuckles, go to the archive search and enter EJ Johnson. Im sure you know that the folks at HSK aren't real bigs fans of all things gay, but the reactions/comments pertaining to EJ were exceptionally funny.(more about his style of dress than his gayness.)

And like you can see OP conveniently dropped 'gay' from the 'gossip message board' part. This place is much more than a gossip board, it's a gay forum. It is funny how one of the boards also thinks "shills" post, their threads are stolen by blogs and media, and that they set trends online. When you are in one place long enough you truly think it's the center of the webosphere. DL tends to go to bed early, but I prefer the true anonymity here. Like someone upthread said, I also post on IMDb.
