Ike Barinholtz from the Mindy Project

Totally hot- what is his story? Gay?

Loved the mad tv skit where he made out with josh Myers

by Anonymousreply 1March 24, 2013 1:39 PM

Allegedly a major fundie/repug.

by Anonymousreply 2March 24, 2013 1:41 PM

I wanna make out with him

by Anonymousreply 3May 12, 2013 4:08 PM

r2 it doesn't mean he's not a nice person.

by Anonymousreply 4May 12, 2013 8:21 PM

He has big dick face.

by Anonymousreply 5May 12, 2013 8:31 PM

That would be a complete turnaround for Ike. He's never been considered a fundie. He wrote some of his own skits on MadTV and they were all gay positive to me.

Who is saying Ike is a fundamentalist?

by Anonymousreply 6May 12, 2013 8:39 PM

This doesn't exactly look like the tweet of a Republican:

Republicans 3 biggest Obama gripes: 1.neglects the defecit 2.feel he's elitist 3.black fella

Neither does this:

Jesus Christ, can the Republicans find ONE of their own to go on tv and not look like a fucking douchebag?

Jewish from a progressive school in Chicago. Classic lakefront liberal parents.

I said hi to him once at our gym, pre-Mindy; told him his Dane Cook impersonation was hilarious b/c you know, Dane's not funny!

He was very humble and polite. Couldn't have been nicer, actually.

by Anonymousreply 13May 13, 2013 1:41 AM

What happened to his eyebrows? Still cute tho.

by Anonymousreply 14May 13, 2013 2:11 AM

He's married with a newborn.

by Anonymousreply 15May 13, 2013 2:18 AM

I [italic]loved[/italic] the episode where he asked the guy that kept pet birds if they could be trained to dress him in the morning - like some Disney princess.

The guy tells him no, explains how that was animation, etc. Ike's character agrees, understands, yet still conveys his disappointment that it can't be done.

It was so cute and funny and odd. I love his character on "Mindy".

by Anonymousreply 16May 13, 2013 5:12 AM

That Key and Peele skit is funny

by Anonymousreply 17May 13, 2013 9:38 AM

He's a great addition to the cast of The Mindy Project. I can't believe NBC passed on it. It's such a likeable and cute show. I read Mindy's book and it's one of the best in its genre. I want good things to happen for her.

by Anonymousreply 18May 13, 2013 2:16 PM

Loved him in this sketch: What can Brown do for You?

He used to have eyebrows. What the hell happened to them? I wonder if he gets nervous and pulls them out?

R18, Americans have trouble with those ugly brown Asian women, and that one especially is hideous looking.

I hope this helps explain it for you.

by Anonymousreply 22May 24, 2013 11:26 PM

Cute clip R21 - Thanks for that.

Josh Meyers is so gorgeous. Nice feets too, despite the ... oh, why spoil things for others.

by Anonymousreply 23May 25, 2013 2:39 AM

I know, I know this isn't the purpose of this thread, but does anyone here love The Mindy Project like I do, or is it more of a "girly" show?

by Anonymousreply 24May 25, 2013 2:43 AM

[quote]I can't believe NBC passed on it. It's such a likeable and cute show.

I really like it, too -- talented cast, sharp writing, and just an overall fun show to watch. This is precisely why I find it so, um, hilarious that many of the same critics who trash THE MINDY PROJECT are the ones who praise GIRLS and NEW GIRL to the skies. Clearly Mindy's only mistake is not being a pretty white girl with connected parents so that she could get a similar rosy reception.

by Anonymousreply 25May 25, 2013 4:11 AM

I loved that, too, R16!!! Morgan is my favorite character. I love when he imitates Danny.

by Anonymousreply 26May 25, 2013 5:46 AM

Ike is the only strait guy I involuntarily love. The man is put together with all the right pieces.

by Anonymousreply 27May 30, 2013 6:47 PM

Friend of friends, have never heard a bad word about him.

by Anonymousreply 28May 30, 2013 6:56 PM

OF course he's not a Republican. He has a sense of humor.

by Anonymousreply 29May 30, 2013 7:05 PM

I loved the finale. I love Mindy. She's really talented.

by Anonymousreply 30May 31, 2013 3:16 AM

Yes I am

by Anonymousreply 31January 15, 2015 5:37 PM

Cute. Is he Asian?

by Anonymousreply 32January 18, 2016 7:15 PM

He's a Jewish

by Anonymousreply 33February 14, 2018 8:01 AM

His brother, Jon Barinholtz, is a semi-regular on "Superstore."
